"The Thayer is a cosy (in Danish "hyggelig" hotel in a beautiful setting in an interesting area, When checking out we asked the cashier who the resort-fee could be justified. The answer was uncertain and unimpressive indicating that this fee is just another charge on the room. It was NOT the good lady's fault, but the hotel management should evaluate whether they want to add charges which has no justification!"

"The room is in ok cleaness. There are bugs and spiders in the room. Bed sheet has a dirt. Water come leak from the next room to the floor. It is liveable but not great"

"Highland falls is a dump. WE WERE LOCKED OUT AFTER 1day of a 2 day stay. Very FEW window coverings and no black out in bedroom. You’ll be up at dawn. WIFI is TERRIBLE!!! Dealing with the owner/property management company was a HASSLE. First, you cannot pay through VRBO. The property manager sent me links to pay that did not work and wasted 4 hours of my time just trying to get payment to their platform. Then after requesting a late check out at the time of booking, I heard “maybe”, 3 times and...

"Space was excellent, the multiple bedrooms with the extra bathroom was great. Kitchen was stocked with utensils, bathrooms were clean, living space was comfortable and cozy."

"Great location…we walked to the Saturday Farmers Market and to the little shops in Highland Falls. Definitely recommend Andy’s for breakfast and Westy’s for a great hangout place in the evenings. Don’t miss the history of West Point!"
