"After getting a bit lost with Apple Maps we arrived via a country lane with google maps. Still very conveniently located a short drive from M25 and Hertfordshire zoo. Apple Maps seem to take you to the other side of carriageway, beware. This didn’t feel like a hotel, really quirky with lovely surroundings. Very clean and modern. Loved the big old trees in the grounds. Tea & coffee bags in the rooms were lovely quality and nice mugs. Toiletries smelt lovely too. Only issue we had was I couldn’t...

"Comfortable very well equipped chalet. The chalet had everything I needed - kitchen utensils, oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. Also tv. Comfortable bed too. The setting is lovely right on the river bank and useful to have parking right next to the chalet. There was also some outdoor space and walks right from the chalet. "

"Super friendly host, excellent location, very responsive host, just overall exactly what I wanted and needed"

"This property is very tired, some windows have no curtains. On-suite bathroom has no toilet, nice kitchen plenty of crockery and cutlery. No hand towel or dishcloth. Down stairs toilet very damp wall. Bed clean and comfortable. A couple of very loose taps that rotate when opening and closing. Needs lots of TLC"

"It was a great stay. Nice and central which was fantastic. You could go out, come back for 30 min and go out again, without feeling like you missed any time! The room was very nice and cozy, albeit a bit small, but I worked great for me and my friend. The only thing I could comment on, is the facts that it’s very dark in the lobby, you feel like it’s always night."
