Unfortunately, the sargassum came in earlier than expected so we were unable to use the private beach to swim but still able to sit outside and enjoy the island breeze. "This home on Spicewood Road was great! Beautiful views of the ocean and the marina. I never know if I should believe the sleeping arrangement listed on sites like VRBO but this house legitimately has 6 massive rooms with king beds and several pull out couches an awesome game room (air hockey, foosball, pinball, etc). "Beautiful house, easy access to beach, ocean does have sea grass that you need to go through. We saw turtles near the beach every day. Peaceful to sit and read a book by. Pool was well maintained and the iguanas like to sit in the trees near the pool. Property manager is excellent. "

"Cottages by the Sea er en fantastisk lille perle på en fantastisk strand lidt uden for Frederiksted. Byen synes sovende, pittoresk med både istandsatte bygninger og forfaldne huse. Bygninger der går tilbage til kolonitiden og den gamle danske lutheranske kirke med få gamle gravsted med danske navne bl.a.Frederik von Scholten. Eneste mangel er indkøbsmulighed på stedet. Der skal køres efter dagligvarer."

"This condo was exactly as pictured and described. It was RIGHT on the beach which was very quiet with plenty of chairs. It was very stocked and clean. The owners respond very quickly with any questions you might have. I would definitely stay here again! "

"David’s home is perfectly situated with more privacy than anticipated. There is greenery and eco-forest on one side and trees blocking neighbors on the other. We enjoyed the pool and shore with our 5 and 7 year old kids. David provided helpful information in a welcome book. Peaceful stay. "

"The view from the deck is breathtaking. The beach is so nice and the restaurant next door is very good. We got a good description of where to find the key and got in without any problems. Also some good advice on what to see and more info was found in the apartment. It was a 25 minutes walk from Christiansted and 10 minutes to a nice supermarket. The apartment is just like on the pictures, the kitchen is well equipped, but the fridge was not clean, we had to remove crumbs and egg shelves....

"Overall the stay was amazing. The condo was accurately described. The pool area and beach was amazing. I would stay here again. "

"This was our 4th trip at Cane Bay staying at SeaClusion. Our first stay in this unit, but definitely not our last! Extremely clean and well-equipped. Everything we could need for a 2 week stay. Right on ocean and steps from spotless pool. North shore location makes it easy to drive to a variety of beaches, restaurants and attractions. "

"We LOVED the location, living on the beach for a week was amazing! Also loved the security of the fence and beach gate. I would highly recommend this house to anyone that wants to experience St Croix. On the property we were able to see a variety of crabs, lizards, iguanas, and birds!! We even spotted a sea turtle swimming in front of the house several days in a row!"

"Fantastic hotel. We returned after 20 years (now with kids of 9 and 13) and had again a fantastic vacation at The Buccaneer. The beaches, pool and tennis courts are very nice and a very serviceminded staff made our stay unforgettable. Love the place and will be returning."

Slow place with a view

"Stedet får dig ned i gear, når du sidder i restauranten og ser havet og palmerne. Servicen i restauranten er langsom til gengæld kom tjeneren lidt for tit og spurgte om alt var ok, hvilket var lidt svært at finde et nyt svar på, når maden enten ikke var kommet eller forkert. Midt i hovedretten fik vi regningen. Generelt var personalet lidt svært at få fat, når man ville spørge om noget. Jeg måtte finde en facility manager efter at rengøringen havde ledt efter personalet til at checke os ud. Han ringede så til en leder, som blot bad os om at lægge nøglen på disken ved check out. Værelset var ok med fin seng. De andre møbler står og rokker lidt. Fin udsigt og direkte adgang til stranden fra terrassen. "

"Absolutely amazing! The best hotel ever! Traveling with my family and we had concerns about the “option free clothing”-pool, but it’s on the other side of the road and you can choose to go or not. Everybody’s so kind and welcoming."
