"Location was very good for the reason I was visiting. It was very nice having a garage for use. The rooms were spacious, plenty of space for everyone. The house is vintage which is not a problem except it had an odor that I bought some room spray to try and mask. Couldn't get hit water in the kitchen sink, not even luke warm?? "Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. "We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It is as pictured very small and cozy. There is only one suitcase holder so it is necessary to get creative with storing your belongings. We were glad to have an a hanging toiletry bag as the sink is small. We had difficulty working the split but the host did reply to us right away. A quiet and peaceful get away."

"Beautiful and immaculate home, beautiful wooded setting by the creek! If you want a private peaceful place to stay this is it. They have gone the extra mile and thought of everything.
