This is our second year in a row visiting and I think we’ll be back next year. Kids love it and the second year was even better, we easily acclimated and jumped right in with an excursion in buggies, second day there.
For the kids, the Entertainment team takes it to the next level. Not only does the entertainment team work their butts off on stage, but they run around running activities throughout the day, with enthusiasm, while also having a bit of time to stop and say hello; a fist bump or a high five with a big smile. Shout out to Victor OG, Baby Face and Johnny Bravo to name a few. The two ladies working the drinks by the preferred pool closest to the buffet, amazing little team. Overall, the staff is just above anything we have seen in our travels. Whether this is a Dominican thing or Hyatt is using fantastic motivating rewards, I’m not sure, but these people work really really hard and the majority genuinely want your stay to be amazing.
The beach has a waves but we actually had fun staying close to shore and jumping whenever the waves pass. Like a wave pool. The sand is wonderful.
The resort is not too large, but also not too small. It’s a perfect size. Water slide and lazy river area is fantastic and well staffed observing safety etc. Gym facilities are great. Buffet is right on, optimal. Eateries by the pools are perfect for a quick meal.
Whomever designed this place from Hyatt, fantastic job.
Give this place a try you won’t regret it. We hope to go again.
