"Room was clean and comfortable. Loved the clean bathroom. Great shower with never ending hot water.The oversized mini refrigerator was great to have keep my bag of ice for 2 day as I we used it in our cooler during the day and refreshed it in the freezer when we returned. Kept food & drinks chilled. Hot coffee pot was well used for making hot coffee and tea.Room could use a few more hooks to hand clothes and towel bars. Bed was too soft. Would prefer a firmer mattress"

"This studio was very clean and had a comfy bed, lovely large deck (not a balcony) and a beautiful garden path for walking through the flowering trees and bushes. This made it feel private and removed from the rest of the surrounding houses, each with a large lot. We sat on the deck for meals, and one time caught a beautiful sunset. We were honored to receive fruit from Mitsuko, most of which had been harvested from her own trees. She was a lovely host and we hope to see her again!"

"The stay was great, easy to get to. Beautiful backyard and view. The room was perfect for me and my girlfriend. The shower was awesome with the raining shower head. Great get away on the north shore and couldn’t recommend it more."

"The location is premium,will more then likely book again ohh yea is possible the have more access to towels and washcloths for the guest that stay for a week or more. 👍"

"Great location and well stocked quirky and old-school funky apartment! Loved it, and was a perfect base for the three of us for a week in Hilo! Not a fancy place, but had everything we needed and was well stocked and had nice touches like a lot of plugs around! Nice and helpful host, too! Would stay again on a return trip!"

"The room is clean and the check-in instructions are pretty clear. The location is right off the route to Hana. The Google map did lead us to the wrong small side street; and since we are aware that possibility, we just U-turn back out and get back to the right street. We were there a bit there early and the room is not ready so we went to a near by sushi restaurant and had lunch. Perfect timing."

"Beautiful condo in a great location. Loved the view from the room and relaxing on the lanai. The grounds were kept up immaculately. I would love to stay at this property again in the future."
