Our stay was wonderful, we were in paradise, it was sunny, warm and relaxing. I loved the modern decor, particularly the lobby and main bar. There needs to be more loungers around the pool. More beach palapas for shade. Cleaning around the resort earlier in the day. The overall cleanliness and disrepair was the worst part. The laminate of the room closets were in terrible shape. The pillows were very lumpy. The staff were lovely and helpful. I fully understand you have no control over the seaweed and rocks, it is unfortunate that the beach is not better. I did pay for two rooms in the premium are, requested one room to have two beds and did not get that. Disappointing considering I was purchasing 2 rooms. The concierge were great as were the front bellmen. The transport to the other resort was very convenient. It was too bad we needed to book 2 days in advance to eat at the restaurants at the sister resort. I did like that the cabana’s around the pool were free, but as they are not in great shape, I would not expect to be charged for them. I prefer a resort that has towel service at the pools. A mid day refresh of a wet towel would be nice. Overall a decent experience, not high end at all but it was a great vacation.

The restaurants and sport facilities were great, as well as the staff working there was very kind. There was always something going on outside at night which was nice, even If not there to participate there was always a fun and beautiful atmosphere.

We liked the cleanliness of the property. The reusable plastic cups at the swim up were not cleaned properly, only with high pressured water, no soap. We liked how there were things to do at night, the disco wasnt good but we went to the neighbouring property and it was much better. The pool is quite small but it works. This was the first hotel I didnt have to ask housekeeping to come and clean our room on arrival so I was very happy about that. We would probably return.

The resort was absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful and very pleasant. The best part was that it was adults only, so completely relaxing. The food was great, and the drinks were even better. I highly recommend this resort.

We went for my husband’s birthday and to celebrate our anniversary This is a 3.5 star resort at best. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. But there is a lot of lack to detail in terms of cleanliness of the room. I encountered roaches in the bathroom coming in from crevices and holes. The tub was visibly dirty. We were supposed to have 24hr room service but when we tried to get some food before we left for our early morning flight no one picked up the phone. We called multiple times between 12am and 3am no response. We even tried going to the 24 hr snack bar but it was shut down at 430am. We ate mostly from the buffet which was a hit or miss. Food was either undercooked, not heated etc. The Rodeo restaurant had the best meal on the resort and the Asian restaurant was pretty decent but be aware the portions are measly at the specialty restaurants The saving grace was the quietness of the resort. It was not a party resort which was what we needed. We did enjoy their foam party on Saturday. It wasn’t a horrible resort but it wasn’t exceptional definitely not a 5 star. I personally would not return back.

Overall our stay was pleasant! The adult side was low key but having access to the family side made up for it. There’s a shuttle that takes you to the other side which has a nicer gym, and a 24/7 sports center with pool tables. The food we rate a 7/10, we were hoping for more options and food on or near the beach as an option. The customer service was top notch shout out to Diego and Israel who took care of our luggage while our room was ready.

So many pools and restaurants in the location.. checking/check out wasn’t that smooth. Abit far from airport the taxi from airport charged 120$ and from hotel to airport 80$. Food is good and diverse

The swim up room was excellent, the food and restaurants were very good, the staff were helpful and always pleasant. The only downside to this resort was only having 2 smoking areas.

We had a wonderful time, our room had a strange smell from the humidity and it could have used some updates but all in all we had a good time. We will definitely be coming back next year but will get a swimout room next time.

Everything was great. Maybe except for the room service. Tried to order room service for breakfast and they told us that the buffet is open. So they only delivered fruits and coffee. Phone in the room didn’t worked for a couple days. We were so disappointed, so we didn’t used the room service as much as we wanted too. But overall everything is great!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The only thing we were short of was towels & washcloths but that doesn’t take away from our 5-star rating. The swim out suites are the only way to go. Plan to return next year.

When it comes to the waiters and bartenders I give them a 10/10 because they work HARD. When it comes to communication with the front desk & concierge knowledge to where things are located they lack tremendously. We paid for a romantic dinner at the rooftop of skylight ($335 usd) and they said there would be photographer as well as a birthday cake for my birthday, in which we received none of what was mentioned. We waited at the dinner table for over 15 minutes till we started making phone calls since no one came to us. We were not pleased at all. Definitely won’t be coming back here & not worth the money.

Absolutely loved staying at Yucatan, as a solo female traveller I felt really safe the whole time & the staff are incredible, Israel was really helpful & kind! Food was good, beach is super close & beautiful! I stayed on the deluxe side in front of the main pool, nice view. Only two cons id say is the bathtub wasn’t necessarily clean but otherwise everything else was & they did a good job coming to do up the beds everyday. The other thing is I noticed my door sometimes wouldn’t lock when I left, definitely make sure your door is locked before leave.. I had to play with it a few times. Overall it definitely is a 5 star resort, I’ll be back!

I will start off by saying that Atibvia and Adolfo( I spelled their names incorrectly) who work front desk at the Platinum check-in were, by far, the most kind and helpful of everyone at the hotel. We were assigned a room on the top floor where the elevator had not been working for the last week. We were on the deluxe side and the front desk person was rude and not helpful. She even told the manager that a pen was thrown at her! Not!! Clearly she did not like her job. I wish I could remember the guy that helped us out when he told us about the elevator not working. He took us to the right person that would give us excellent service. ALL of the porters that handle the luggage took the time to say hello and good morning/afternoon/evening. We did end up with a swimout( at extra cost) in a quieter area on the deluxe side. NOTE: if you want quiet, ask for a room in the 4000 block. Otherwise you will be in party central. If you want a room that is a swimout, quiet and private. Room numbers 4025-4030 are the best. We found the a la carte restaurants ok. The best by far was the Asian one. The sushi was very good as was most of the menu items. Wait staff were gracious and very kind. We did not eat at the Tapanaki table. The wait staff at all the other restaurants seemed a bit miffed when we asked to be seated at a table other than the one we were being offered. (They were all at the back of the restaurant where you felt shoved in a corner.)
