The property was lovely and picturesque. Our room was decent. I did notice water leaking out from under the shower. The food unfortunately was nothing worth mentioning.

The property was beautiful and easy to access anything in and around the property. Highly recommend a swim up pool room, it made it a great refreshing swim in the late afternoon. Staff was always welcoming and accommodating to us with smiles on their faces. We loved it so much we want to go back every year.

It was good place although beach was full of seaweed and stinks like dead fish.

Great room and amazing shower. Food was excellent and varied. Beach was a little rocky. I wish the AC could be turned down lower than 22C. Room survice took a long tims to connect with someone, 15 ish min. We loved how peaceful the resort is. Would stay here agaon

The air conditioning ran the entire time we were there for a week and never cooled down to temperature. At night it was uncomfortable sleeping because of it. None of the specialty restaurants were good. The buffet was better always, except for the steak restaurant. The room service for was horrible except for the breakfast. All room service took at least an hour. The property was beautiful, but the connecting resort you could also use was nicer, less expensive, and had better food.

Loved our stay here! The property is beautiful and staff is great. The beach is not the best due to seaweed but that isn’t something the resort can control and they had people working to clean it every day. The buffet food was ok but I’m picky. My husband enjoyed it. The speciality restaurants were great! The only negative thing I have to say is the smell! We went in bar salsa one night and had to immediately walk out because it smelt so bad. This also happened once in the buffet. Both times was a mildew smell. It’s almost like the carpets or rags they used to clean were mildewed and made the whole place smell awful. However, the humidity is high and makes it hard for things to dry fast so this may be some of the cause. Overall, for the price I’d would recommend this resort and have already begun planning a trip back. If you are looking for an actual 5 star resort, you’ll want to choose somewhere else and pay double if not triple the price.

I really enjoyed the night shows at this property! Some of the servers at the restaurant made the experience super enjoyable . With this hotel we are able to go to the sister hotels and enjoy what they have to offer as well. The only thing is that I wish that this property had more lunch options.

This was our 2nd time at Princess resorts. The reason we came back was b/c we loved it so much last time and even more this time. Thai resort offers quiet time to relax and party time to have fun as well. We like both so we liked it. What can be improved is live music bands, hopefully live music offers music that is more for dancing. We missed that for sure. Buffets were the best with amazing staff but speciality restaurants has gone down a bit in their quality of food. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we will be for sure coming back soon!!!

This property has amazing swimming pools. Poolside entertainments and great evening shows. However the first two days both elevators were broken and it was inconvenient to take stairs to go to our third floor room. We reported it few times and finally one elevator got fixed. The elevators were very old and I believe that they should invest in changing them. Also no airport transportation was provided.

Hotel was very good. Buffet unbelievable - so much food. Beach not good, very hard to go in the water (stones, rocks) lots of seaweeds. Should be cleaned out. Pools very good.

This was honestly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had in such a long time. This was my first time leaving the states alone, and I felt so well taken care of. Along with friendly staff, is also just a beautiful beach, and a great resort. I loved every minute of my stay here and plan on returning when I find myself back in Playa del Carmen :)

Every day offered a different activity to take part in. Would be nice if the local beach did not have so much seaweeds in the morning so we couldn’t enjoy the beach water like we wanted. The food was good for a resort and the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The only bad thing i would say was most of the bartenders at the pool bars were not friendly at all and you had to wait along time to get a drink.

Nearly all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of food options but in most me have to wear long pants to dinner. I didn’t realize this beforehand and so wasn’t prepared. They have tons of pools and nice walking paths.

Been here for my second time, and I love it. The buffet/restaurant staff are amazing, I always ask for Rosember. Best cheaper than other resorts but high quality.

Overall we were happy with our stay. The staff was amazing. The food was decent. Get the swim up room!! The people who didn’t had to fight for chairs around the pools. Lots of wildlife on the resort- the coatis are voracious!

The resort was pretty good, not sure I would give it a 5 stars though, from my overall experience travelling I would go 4 and Maybe 5 on the Platinum side, where I will definitely go, if I go back. (As an Expedia VIP I was taken care of on the platinum side and was very pleased with the service) In my experience the food and service was amazing in all of the "a la carte" I went to (some twice). I only did the buffet for Breakfast and once for dinners with friends and both service & food were fantastic, for those saying otherwise, you must be heck of picky eaters, because the amount of choices were abundant. I was traveling solo and not once did I feel unsafe (knowing that I should have gone for a swim out) the staff I interacted with, were fantastic. That said, a combination with some less than mannered "guest" and been woken up at 3am by a couple in a literal "screaming match" with each other all the way to their room until security intervened wasn't fun. Now I went there to unwind and relax. If its your goal, then definitely go on the Platinum side. So many young adults who go there to party especially on the weekend, so if you end up in building 1, 2 or 3 don't expect siesta in the afternoon as the music at the party pool is quite loud. Entertainment does do a great job, and if you want a combo fun/entertainment well its the place. evening shows were amazing. Will go back, but on the Platinum side for quietness.

It was a great area, the only probelm was how how much seaweed was in the beach area, and the food was only ok.

Personally, I did not feel that this was anything luxurious. It was very basic which is totally fine. For me the biggest struggle was their WiFi. If you have a profession that uses a secure laptop, you will not be able to get any work done during your trip. I don't typically work during a vacation but I did have one thing I needed to quickly get done and I was not able to get my laptop to work with their WiFi and ended having to do a 5 minute job on my phone and it took me about 3 hours :(. Overall the resort was great but we did have a lot if ants on our balcony and on our bathroom sink. We also had an issue with the standing water in the shower and it would also leak water towards the bed when you showered. We let front desk know but it was not fixed. We would just leave a towel there everyday. The food wasn't bad, drinks very watered down and the beach had a ton of seaweed. But we were able to walk down to Grand Sunsets beach and it was much better.

The resort is very good. After changing the room from directly in front of the party pool to a quiet location we enjoyed a pleasant stay. Some of the waiters are in need of training, like serving ladies first, food from the right-hand side, etc.
