Pantages Theatre

The historic Pantages Theater is located in Hollywood near the landmark intersection of Hollywood and Vine and across the street from the W Hollywood Hotel. It was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. In has been a vaudeville venue and a movie house and more recently a venue for live theatrical productions. The Pantages has been used as a location in several films. A favorite quirky reference is Rickie Lee Jones' mention in her 1979 hit "Chuck E's In Love".
