The hotel kindly allowed a later check out with a prompt and polite response to our request. Check in was efficient and simple. The evening meal was superb - great value and the pavlova! Wow! Chef’s kiss! All in all - a beautiful historic building and a really enjoyable stay. We will return I am sure. "

"We enjoyed a lovely quiet couple's getaway while we went to the Ed Sheeran concert in Ipswich. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very quiet and relaxing.
The town centre is in walking distance and has some really nice and reasonably priced cafes. There is a short walk to a pebble beach and beautiful gardens. "

The water is so soft and the pressure is far more superior compared to where we live! We visited the beach too for a couple of days, which was amazing, The Trawlerman gets a mention for the best fish n chips we’ve had in a long time! We will definitely return to stay as we have family living nearby now!...
