"Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Thoughtful amenities in room - even has Chinese herbal tea sachets. Rooms are quiet even though next to main road. Not very close to subway though but u was using taxi most times so not an issue"

"The hotel is walking distance from 2 main transit stations and lines which makes it very helpful to get around the city. Great service from the staff, particularly from Cherry and Emily who helped us with our luggage, and Jesse who arranged our airport drop off (free with the hotel stay). The gym and pool were also very nice. The room is spacious and had a great view of the city."

"The Venice is a charismatic - if a bit tacky - hotel in the heart of Shenzhen, it's situated almost directly on top of the the most central part of the subway providing easy access to the most interesting areas of Shenzhen as well as being close to the primary business area of Hi-Tech Park. The facilies are certainly not lacking and at times may seem a bit too glamourous, even. The staff are proficient at English and perfectly understandable, which for China is a huge plus."

"I will not be returning to this place. I was not informed before the booking of the huge construction they have going on. My room was literally in the middle of a construction site. The noise should according to the hotel be from 9-12 and 14-19. The few times I wanted to relax in the hotel room in the mentioned hours, I instantly regretted. It was simply impossible to be there with the noise. Two mornings they even started around 8!
I requested a partial refund at the information desk, but they...

Stayed at 8th floor, the water pressure from shower is low. The air condition system was down at my last day of stay, it heats my room up to 30 degree C. And personally I don't like the texture of the pillow and sheet."
