"I will not be returning to this place. I was not informed before the booking of the huge construction they have going on. My room was literally in the middle of a construction site. The noise should according to the hotel be from 9-12 and 14-19. The few times I wanted to relax in the hotel room in the mentioned hours, I instantly regretted. "The Venice is a charismatic - if a bit tacky - hotel in the heart of Shenzhen, it's situated almost directly on top of the the most central part of the subway providing easy access to the most interesting areas of Shenzhen as well as being close to the primary business area of Hi-Tech Park. The facilies are certainly not lacking and at times may seem a bit too glamourous, even. The staff are proficient at English and perfectly understandable, which for China is a huge plus."

"My original room was actually leaking water from the ceiling, but the front desk was very accommodating in helping me switch rooms. The rooms here are nice and spacious! The wooden appearance and green color scheme gives off soothing, nature vibes. The staff is decent; they open the front door for you and serve cart snacks on the lobby floor. The convenience of this hotel is easily the best aspect though, as it connects to a decent shopping mall with many food options."
