Directions to check in site were confusing. Renters should be aware to use North Myrtle Beach vs Myrtle Beach.Several rooms were dusty with 2 bath rooms having cobwebs on the ceilings. Kitchen appliances were ok, coffee makers were a bit dirty but easily cleaned. Front porch rocking chairs we're very dusty and dirty. Not sure when they were last cleaned.Downstairs area, parking and bar area were filthy, bar seats as well as bar looked to have not been cleaned prior to our arrival. There were 2 barbeques both were completely unusable.Pool area was beautiful and the view from the up stairs balcony was spectacular with the ocean and beach right there. Beach access was very easy just a short walk.Our host was very courteous in trying to help us resolve our issues. They had a person there on our second day power washing the entire downstairs and bar area. He tried his best to clean the barbeque which we would not use even after his attempt to clean it. We had asked for a new barbeque which unfortunately was not delivered until our last day in the house.This was our first time using a VRBO property which was managed by Elliot Rentals. Our overall stay was good, although we did expect the house to be cleaner.
