Anchors Down is located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, just minutes from Barefoot Landing, House of Blues, Tanger Outlets, golf courses, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and more.

There is an upper unit, Anchors Up, that may be rented during your stay. Anchors Up and Anchors Down share the pool area and backyard area. There is another one-bedroom, first floor unit in the back of the house (Anchors Away). This unit is for short term rentals and the guests have their own completely separate entrance and driveway. Guests staying here have no access to the patio, pool, or pool area. You are able to include Anchors Up or Anchors Away in your reservation, message us if you'd like to add it.
Towels and linens are included in the price. We provide a starter pack of toilet paper for each bathroom, one roll of paper towels, dish detergent, cleaning supplies, and dishwasher detergent as well.
Pet dogs are allowed but there will be a $75 for each dog and a maximum of two. Guests must clean up after their pets. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL OR POOL AREA.
It is not uncommon to encounter insects such as Palmetto Bugs or wildlife in tropical climate. While we do take preventative measures to keep critters/bugs with pest control service it is still possible for some to come through an opening. Please try to keep doors closed to help keep any possible insects out.
NO PARTIES/EVENTS-Primary Guest must be at least 25 years old and present during the entire stay. Only registered/approved guests are allowed to stay at the residence. We do not allow for other visitors or overnight guests without prior approval from hosts.
NO SMOKING/VAPING Inside the property or near the entrances. Please refrain from smoking inside or near the entrances. Smoking is also not allowed in the pool area.
There are 2 cameras in the front of the house, in the top left and right corners of the porch and face the two parking areas, and a side camera in the back of the house facing the driveway. They may be recording at anytime.
The grill is provided as a courtesy and we cannot guarantee its functionality. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill and providing their own cooking materials. The pool is cleaned once a week during non-peak season and twice a week during peak season. Guests are responsible for skimming debris out of the pool in between cleanings. Guests can request an additional cleaning at guest's cost if possible. You may see a person from the pool company or landscaping company on the premises during your stay. The Ice maker in the fridge is not in use. There is also a locked closet near the laundry area that guests do not have access to.
Guests may encounter members of our staff on the property during their stay including property maintenance members, cleaners, landscapers and pool cleaners.
Please note that your stay can be during hurricane season. While we always hope for perfect weather, storms can occasionally disrupt travel plans. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip in case of unforeseen weather events. Refunds will ONLY be given for nights that fall under a mandatory evacuation order.
**Please note the backyard pool area is shared between the upper and lower level of Anchor House. The grill is provided as a courtesy as we cannot guarantee its functionality. Guests are responsible for cleaning the grill and filling up the propane. The pool is cleaned once a week during non-peak and twice a week during peak season. Guests are responsible for skimming debris out of the pool in between cleanings. Guests can request an additional cleaning at guest's cost if possible for cleaning team to fit into their schedule. The Ice maker is non functional and we provide ice trays. There is a locked maintenance closet near the laundry area that guests do not have access to as it has supplies for our cleaners. Guests might see onsite pool cleaners, landscapers or maintenance team members during their stay. ***
