Kold fornøjelse!
Placeringen var god, men værelset var hundekoldt. Det var et kæmpe rum, som var umuligt at opvarme. Det endte med, at vi fik en radiator op på værelset som hjælp en del, men det krævede en søvnløs kold nat før vi fik hjælp af personalet, da de var "fuldt booket". Godt hotel til prisen, men koldt om vinteren.

Perfekt lokation men dårlig (ingen) service
Det var et super godt ophold. Værelset var virkelig fint indrettet og havde en perfekt størrelse til os to piger. Dog manglende der service, vi måtte både bede dem om at tømme skrald, sørge for toiletpapir og nye håndklæder. Ikke en eneste gang tjekkede de værelset de fire dage vi var der. Dog gjorde lokationen og værelsets størrelse at vi samlet set var glade for opholdet

Fantastisk hotel til en god pris
Hotellet ligger meget centralt og tæt på togstationen. God plads på værelset og et meget fint badeværelse. Man skal betale for at få tv og wifi på værelset. Vi betalte £5 for wifi i 24 timer. Man kunne også betale £20 for hele opholdet. Vi gjorde også brug af bagageopbevaring, da vi ankom før vi kunne få vores værelse. £5 Per taske. Meget venlig og hjælpsom personale. Jeg vender helt sikker tilbage hertil.

Cheap and comfy, good location. Shame about only one pillow. Should of asked for another but it was late at night and just wanted to sleep.

Lovely hotel in a nice location, only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Head board was covered in dust right next to where pillows are, surfaces looked as though they hadn’t been wiped over, under the bed there was large amounts of dust gathered which is easily noticed without having to look and floors were manky (broken crisps from previous guest)

Floor was dirty all throughout the room and the pillows couldve been somewhat better, haribos and spilt drinks under the bed which couldve been forgiven if there wasnt a 50cm gap of nothing which is easily accessible. Location and price were the only good thing.

Aircon didnt work so had to prop room door to allow steam out without venting. Windows dont open. Bathroom appears to be falling apart and the sink is peeling enamel. Stayed many times but by far this was our worst stay. Reception staff were nice and polite as always

Very easy to find. In a great, vibrant area right on the quayside and beside the bridges. Very safe hotel (key card entry only into rooms access, lift and between hotel wings). No tea-coffee making facilities inside the room but free use of a tea/coffee/hot chocolate machine in main reception. Hairdryer in the room didn’t work but I didn’t need it. Also, TV didn’t have signal (again i didn’t need it). Cheapest room for my night’s stay (solo female) was a triple (£36) and i actually had a great view of one of the bridges too. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was supreme! Nice and hot and great power. One star less for no restaurant but there is tonnes nearby (i used the wetherspoons less than 5 mins away as was on a budget)

Hotel location good, staff very polite, bathroom was new so was the only positive thing about room, the room was cold , windows looked like they had never been cleaned, bare cables showing on a joint box on wall, ac heating unit would not warm room.

Not a good journey
Not a comfortable journey here. The facilities in the room are poor. No desk or a chair. I have to mention the air conditioner system especially. It performed really terrible, dirty and hard to set up. I was very cold during the whole night. Also wind came in through the window even though I closed all the windows.

I stay here two/three times a year. The price and simplicity of the Hotel means I can afford and look forward to some much needed time away. Particularly enjoyed this stay. Staff were lovely, room was great. Thank you!

Amenities were pretty basic even for a budget room. No facilities to make coffee, the temperature control of the room was not user friendly. Not a single chair in the room.

The hotel was in a very good position to explore the quays ,Tyne bridge, and lots of bars, restaurants etc. staff were very friendly,check in was easy. Room was big. Big TV, clean and comfortable bed, good shower. Excellent stay?

Good location and price. Rude Manager.
Initially I was going to give a 1* review but Paul did try to rectify it by giving us a free late check out. We had various issues though. The main was Paul the assistant manager was very rude and patronising. When I asked what the other guest section meant he responded 'what do you think it means' along with other times being generally huffy. When we got to the room after a wait, the key card didn't work. The room overall was a good price and central, however Paul being rude turned what would of been a good stay into a sour experience overall.

Would stay again
Hotel was perfect for what we needed for a night out. Although. The rooms are small and there is no storage. There is a few hangers but they are not the best.

Great budget stay
Last minute booking to stay. Friendly receptionist and was upgraded. Nice view and bigger room. The hotel does just what it says - an easy space to use and great price

Was not provided with rooms as per booking. Room was downgraded without my consent. Told by hotel duty manager nothing they could do and i must contact Expedia. No apology or compensation despite clear info on email confirmation.

Hi Chad, I'm disappointed to see you only left us a 1/5 score, I was under the impression after chatting to you last night on various occasions that you and your party were enjoying your stay. As we spoke last night I can confirm that your booking was for 2x quad rooms x2 people in each room, these rooms were what was booked and provided. however, when you arrived you had an additional 2 guests with you. 1 room layout was able to provide the additional occupancy at no extra cost, however, because we had not been notified of the additional guest for the room in question we were unable to allocate the bedroom style more appropriate to your party, as you will recall I tried every way possible to accommodate the guys for a more comfortable stay, but due to us being fully booked, we didn't have any choices to reallocate. and Unfortunately, There was nothing I could do. I apologized to you throughout the check-in procedure and further throughout the evening when I enquired how your party was managing, you shook my hand and said thanks for the help, so again I'm a bit disappointed, you said you received no apology. So after looking further into this for you and 5 calls to Expedia, no compensation can be offered this time around. we hope to see you again, please call us beforehand and we can double-check and amend any booking errors to avoid further disappointmentKindest Regards.

Very basic
There was no cups or kettle to make a drink sadly. Also only one coat hanger in the room so I had to dump stuff on the floor. On returning on my 2nd day my key wouldn't work, I went to reception where I stood and was ignored by the receptionist who was playing on her phone and made no acknowledgement of me

Dear Mark, Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review.We provided tea/coffee-making facilities in the reception lobby and our apologies if there weren't any cups, notifying the staff at the desk would have been good to get you some.In regards to there being only one coat hanger, clear pictures of what the room looks like are provided on booking platforms.Furthermore, in regard to the receptionist's behaviour, we would like to sincerely apologise for that. We always train our staff on how to properly and consistently provide customers with exceptional service because customer satisfaction is our number 1 priority.
