"Fint sted, gode værelser, venligt personale og rent. Dog ligger det lige ud til en vej. Men hyggelig havemiljø. "

"Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it."

"We were here for a wedding. Everything ran like clockwork and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. One word of warning, if you have mobility issues make sure you are on a floor serviced by a lift"

"Rene værelser..som overnatning var det perfekt med de faciliteter der var til rådighed."

"Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return."

"Dejligt sted! Hyggeligt og med dejligt store værelser. Masser af varmt vand i hanerne og bløde håndklæderne. Morgenmaden er lækker og bliver tilpasset efter dine ønsker. Restauranten havde et fantastisk tilbud med en drink og en hovedret for 10£, og den bøf vi fik var både stor og virkelig lækker! Jeg kan kun anbefale dette hotel, og særligt hvis man leder efter en ægte engelsk oplevelse!"

I can certainly recommend the full English breakfast, possibly one of the best I've ever had, there are lighter options. We also had dinner here on both nights, again the food was great with good range of choices although in my opinion slightly pricey. Staff at breakfast and dinner were smart, attentive and polite. Apart from the intense heat, which...

"Good food and comfortable room"

"Clean & comfortable space. Helpful proprietor. Excellent breakfast! Location was great for our travel (1 mile from local train station.)"

"Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs."

"Lovely junior garden room with a very nice view! Very cosy and dog friendly! Super food served and the staff especially Jane & Lauren were so lovely and gave super service! Would highly recommend staying or dining here!"
