Overall very satisfied. The hotel room has everything i needed for the stay (maybe a full-body mirror could have been a plus, but not essential) The area is convenient too and very close to the streetcar station. Verti Marte is one block away so you jave the nest sandwich shop right next to you Pool area was nice. And the room interior overall did not have anything too tacky in my taste The staff was mostly great, no complaints. Only downsides: Homeless ppl nearby but i guess this is a nationwide issue. Some ants in the room, but not critical level

Le Richelieu Terrace Bar is open again, and they're hoping to have the restaurant open again by the end of the year. We'll be back in '25!

This hotel is in a great location in a quieter area of the French Quarter. Unfortunately the inside noise level due to thin walls/doors between adjoining rooms and bare vinyl floors was disturbing. I could hear snoring, conversations. And more from the adjacent room. The pool is lovely and clean. The furnishings are minimal, too few for comfort for a long stay. I do not mind that they were vintage and a bit beat up. But…. No full length mirror, no dresser or chest of drawers. A larger nighstand was the stand-in, and its surface was covered by the coffee pot and ice bucket. The mini fridge was placed on the floor. The room needed a deeper cleaning (wipe down of surfaces and wall trim, and floor mopping) prior to check in. I did not expect luxury for the price, but I did expect better than this. Too bad. It’s an interesting historic building. Ok for a night or two. I won’t go back for a weeklong stay,

Great location, nice property, rooms were not sound proofed well, were very basic, not even bottled water in weird room frig that was on the floor and made too much noise. Rooms were spacious but not that nice for the price. Staff was great.

Check in is always pleasant. I had a last minute reservation request during Jazz Fest and they were still available to book my reservation. Room was clean. I was pleased to see the lounge was back opened. The pool was very clean & enjoyable. Thank you. Mad Hatter

Well located in the French Quarter, five minute walk from Jackson Square, and two blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Recently updated, this hotel met all of our needs. Minor detail- the luggage cart was inadequate and needs to be replaced. The hotel confirmed that it was on back order.

I love this hotel! It's the best one in the area and the only one we stay at now. It keeps getting better every time the we visit. The beds are great and the rooms are very nice. I love to look and feel of the hotel and the people are very nice. They have made several upgrades since the last time we stayed which made this experience even better than the last. I would highly recommend this hotel when you come to visit New Orleans.

The hotel has been renovated and while it is fresh and clean, it lacks the charm pre-reno. This isn’t a deal breaker but the lack of carpets make the hotel loud and echoey. The doors to the room and the bathroom were not hung properly. Bathroom door didn’t close properly and you could see light from hallway from room door. The tv was difficult to use. We couldn’t turn it off completely and the volume was either loud or off. We had obnoxious neighbors who were loud and we could hear everything they were saying and what they were watching. Also, the safe didn’t work. We put a request in on the 1st day to have it fixed. We stayed for 7 nights and it was never fixed. I would consider staying there again but they aren’t my 1st choice,

My husband and I have long loved Le Richelieu, and this was our first time since renovations. The hotel looks very nice, and the staff was everything wonderful. I miss the bar/restaurant, which is scheduled to reopen later. I’ve always appreciated the on site, gated parking, too. Again, very nice people!

Staff was excellent, our room was large and comfortable and the location was ideal for our purposes. The only issue we had was noisy neighbors in the next room. The sound insulation was not sufficient to mitigate the noise.

Overall we were expecting just a bit more elegance in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was a decent size. The staff were all very helpful and the Envie Coffee shop around the corner was a great place to meet and mingle with the locals.

A small lovely older property on the quiet edge of the French quarter. It was very centrally located. Just a few blocks away from the French market as well as restaurants and bars as well as Bourbon Street. Close to the action but far enough away to not be disturbed by the partying. Their ads state that there is a restaurant and bar both of which were not operationa. . Stafl,so no room service

Le Richelieu is a great hotel near the Esplanade, friendly staff, and close to Frenchman St. and the Jazz Museum. Cafe Amelie has fabulous brunch nearby (get a reservation), Verti Marte is a couple blocks away, and Zhang Bistro has some amazing fusion eats. We enjoyed the charming building and the balcony. We even watched a 2nd Line marching band parade from the balcony! NOLA is a magical place, staying at Le Richelieu elevates the experience.

Our favorite place to stay in NO. Simple, no frills but superior location, terrific staff, very nice bedding, not noisy, quick walk to Frenchman Street for the best music in the city. We love the LeRichelieu!
