Experience the Big Easy in this tranquil blue oasis. This 3 bed/2 bath home will ensure a cozy stay and is a short drive to the French Quarter. This private home sleeps 6 guests and offers everything you need to stay comfortably to live like a local. Minutes away from coffee shops, bars, boutiques, and public transit, you have unbeatable access to the lively city of New Orleans.

The Space:

Your home quarters share a huge backyard terrace with the neighboring unit. Just 5 minutes east of Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, 10 minutes from the French Quarter and easy access to all nearby attractions.

The home is fully furnished and decorated with curated antiques and art, along with top of the line equipment and modern luxuries.

Your plush down comforters and memory foam pillows will ensure a good night’s sleep, leaving you rejuvenated and ready to explore all what New Orleans has to offer.



Primp and pamper before the day with our complementary bath products and hair dryers.

With high speed internet and two smart LCD TVs, everyone can share their adventures, catch up on work, and binge watch all at once. Fresh linens and toiletries are provided for each guest.

The guests will enjoy the entire place exclusively for themselves. Keyless entry with backdoor access.



The Neighborhood:

This historic neighborhood is where several famous jazz musicians got their start as well as being the birthplace of monumental moments in civil rights history such as where Martin Luther King Jr.’s Southern Christian Leadership conference was founded.

The main strip, Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, offers many unpretentious shops and restaurants to pop in and out of. Major nearby attractions include Martin Luther King Jr. statue, the Southern Food and Beverage Museum, Ashe Cultural Arts Center and live music at the New Orleans Jazz Market.



Getting Around:

The closest bus stop is a short walk to Loyola at Seventh Street.

Taxis and ride shares such as Uber and Lyft, also operate heavily in the area.

For those traveling by car parking in front of the house is readily available.

Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport is just a 20 minute drive.



Other Things to Note:

Terrific for family gatherings, or to come and visit NOLA for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, etc.

The apt was a great stay for our trip! We loved having plenty of beds for our whole group and the ability to use the amenities of a full house. The apartment was clean and comfy. Soaps were provided which was also nice. The only thing I would recommend is restocking the kitchen with tools so it’s easier to cook while in the space. Overall we enjoyed and would stay again!

This was the first time I used VRBO and the experience was great. Our host was so responsive to my inquiries, and the place itself was very comfortable and cute. I loved the shotgun house floor plan. The neighborhood was quiet and there was a convenience store just down the block. Overall, I would stay here again if I were in New Orleans.

Interior is great, clean, and well kept, beds are very comfortable, and it was pretty easy to have 6 guests in there as long as you have people comfortable sharing queen beds. Host was very responsive and didn't have a laundry list of check in/check out things for us to do. Its a great place to stay with friends for a trip to New Orleans. Only things to be wary of: right on the cusp of an unsafe area of New Orleans, so be careful being out after dark. Also, downstairs neighbors were not considerate of quiet hours in the slightest, heard very loud conversation almost every night around 3 am. But if you sleep hard, this is not an issue. We enjoyed our stay overall

The place was comfortable, but needs a good cleaning. We stayed two weeks. The steep fire escape steps to get into the rental felt treacherous in the rain and would be really difficult for kids and for people with mobility challenges. The biggest problem with the place is that this unit has noisy neighbors. It is in a four plex building and the neighbors below and to the side played loud music and were loud. The walls are quite thin. On Friday and Saturday nights, the parties went until 6 am.

Condo is well renovated- you can tell they put a lot of work into making it cute. On the flip side, cleaners need to do a better job as we found small things missed when we checked in. Also lots of little things were broken like the trash can, no remote for the TV etc. Nothing too crazy but not what I expect from somewhere I am paying to stay. The owner offered to have the landlord come and fix them while we were there and it wasnt necessary; I just cleaned up what i noticed. Neighborhood was definitely a concern to my kids and parking was confusing because the whole front of the building said handicapped parking. I asked twice for someone to clarify if we could park there and I only got an automated message from the host instead of an actual answer. We saw someone who lived on that block on the second day said we could park there and it didn't matter.Would not recommend for a family due to neighbors being loud late into the night (past 4am) and there are a LOT of stairs. We traveled with 2 young kids and an elderly person, all who were scared at how skinny and steep the stairs are.

Didn’t like the fact that you walk through all bedrooms as they are all in the back. To get to the furthest bedroom, you have to walk through the first two. Washer on the back porch, not so clean or handy. The dryer is on the other tenants back porch. Didn’t love the set up. Thin walls, could hear the neighbors just talking.

Great little place

Overall this property is exactly as stated in the listing. Room layout is a bit odd, but very accommodating. Interior very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Neighborhood is a bit suspect, but we had no issues.

Marvelous Mardi Gras!

We had an absolute wonderful time! The house is perfect, and had everything we needed. We walked to the parade routes, which were a little far but definitely doable! Would totally stay here again.

Overall good

This review is purely about the team. The house itself has no big problems, it’s just me, coming over new year celebration time, I overestimated my tolerance to noise, so if you’re a light sleeper like me, probably not a good choice. What amazed me was how flexible and adaptable this team is. Some of them were on vacation too, but they worked hard to make my last minute request come true so we transferred seamlessly. All I can say is if you’re booking any of their properties, you know you’re in good hands. I’m so glad we found them and we’re so grateful despite what has happened, we still have had a great vacation after all!

A lifesaver for Eras!

After a property we booked in November of 2023 canceled on us 17 days before we were flying into NOLA we were so please to find the Chic condo still available while Taylor was in town. 4 ladies 4 beds and 2 bathrooms was perfect for us!

It was decent. Reasonably priced. Parking was okay and I was there during Mardi gras. The beds were comfortable. The only thing was the cleaning staff forgot to put out towels. Overall, I wouldn't mind staying again.

Great Location

Easy to get around. Property was clean and easy to find. Street parking was the only negative, but it was not bad at all. I also did not realize this was a second floor unit, but that is on me. Great place would stay again.
