"it's of our incredible stay at this Dahachok Homestay. The main part of they served Local home grown organic vegetables and other foods, which are very rare to find other touring places. "The property was beautifully designed, comfortable and the breakfast provided was delicious. The only downside was the courtyard was very brightly lit at night and the curtains were very thin white fabric which meant the room was not dark at nighttime and prevented me from a good nights sleep. The taxi was unable to get to the property due to the narrow streets so you need to carry your bags a short distance which is not a problem. One thing to be aware of and would apply to any property you...

Within a 15 minute walk to bus station, 5-10 minutes away from food choices and banks etc. For this price hotels would be in worse shape so better to stay here. Shared shower and bathroom which were never cleaned i dont think. "

"Amazing location just a few minutes walk from Lakeside. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fact that the street was quiet at night due to not being on the center of the main road. Very clean and generous rooms with a balcony throughout the property. The hosts were extremely accommodating and a very nice family. If you’re looking for a place to stay that is very close to the lake but enjoy a peaceful accommodation, this place would be it!"

"I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. It's a small guest house with about 9-10 rooms. It's all been refurbished to look like it might have 300 years ago. It's so beautiful and quaint. The location is central. Above all, the staff was very wonderful, super attentive, and very friendly. If you open up to them and befriend them, they treat you like royalty!!"

This hotel has it all
"Extremely welcoming staff meeting you with big smiles on arrival. The staff is really determined to make your stay the best 24/7. Be aware that the (young) reception/concierge staff do not always speak a clear English, so you may need to ask more times to get the full understanding of their explanations. The location of the hotel is great - close to main shopping areas, but still in a quiet residential area, with a hospital/pharmacy next door, and an integrated cosy complex with a lot of small handicraft boutiques and not less than four different restaurants that can all keep you busy for days - besides a small pool, library, fitness room and a nice spa. All in all a very good choice if you stay in Kathmandu for more days in a row"
