"The Barahi jungle Lodge is a beautiful place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Chitwan! A few highlights: -Their commitment to sustainability is exceptional. For example, most of the food is grown on site, and they've effectively done away with single use plastic - The service!! This is old school hospitality. Anything you need at all, someone is ready to help. They surprised us with a complimentary bush dinner one evening (such a cool experience, would recommend)...

"This is a top-notch property with great amenities and things to do. We had a wonderful village tour and two nature walks with Kamal Adhikari, the guide at the lodge. He is so knowledgeable and does an excellent job. We also went to the Locals Cultural dance which was very entertaining and so well performed. Mr. Adhikari participated in that as well. "Overall property was pretty good with garden area and outside dining. Food was acceptable. Off the main road and so less dust and traffic noise. Fan and AC unit worked. Room not as clean as it should be. Main problem, they had screen doors on each room which made a loud banging noise every time they were closed. With about 20 rooms that can make for a lot of unpleasant noise especially at all hours of the night. Also lots of people were smoking in all of the nice outside areas, not in the rooms...

"Service was really bad after the guys at the hotel found out we booked our jungle safari at another place. The price at Gaida Lodge is 3 time as expensive as the other place we found in the city.
