Hoteller nær National Museum of Puerto Rican Arts & Culture

"Great place, just as described in the posting. Biggest pro is the area. Also, the rooms are nice and bright, breakfast was fine and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Yes, you can hear the train that runs by close to the hotel. But come on, it is a big city. If you don't like a bit of noise, then go to the country side. The train did not disturb my sleep at any time."

"I loved this place it was in a great location and the property itself was beautiful and very well maintained. Parking was an issue but I found a spot not even half a mile down the road so overall wasn't a big issue. If I'm ever back in Chicago I would definitely stay here again."

"The walls had stains and holes everywhere, the bedding also had stains. our only outlet wasn’t covered it was just opened and exposed. a blister on my foot also got infected from walking on there floors. there was also staining all over the couch in the shared living room. they also didn’t have any tvs in any of the rooms."

"Great experience from the first smile while being checked in until the minute we checked out! A nice and personable staff. A clean building and room. Parking available for a fee - but felt safe to leave car out in the open. Near some great little places to eat or grab a snack. The breakfast had a nice variety and places to sit. It was our first time there - but will not be our last!"

"We love the Peninsula in general but this time the concierge failed BIG TIME. Being from Europe and happen to be in the US in the 4th of July , we asked for a restaurant/ vennue where ofc we would be able to see fireworks.. we where booked at a restaurant where not one single piece of firework was visible throughout the whole night . This was the ONLY criteria for the conceirce to take care of and it was a TOTAL failure.. had we had a good dinner that could have made up for some of the failure...

"Thank you ! Appreciated . Really liked the service"

"Overpriced and overloaded. vallet parkning is FAR too expensive. Staff forgot our breakfast order due to far too many guest in the restaurant. Not really value for money."

"What an absolutely remarkable place! It genuinely feels as though a beautiful piece of historic Italy has been transported into this Chicago neighborhood. The architecture, thoughtfully selected ornate decor, warmth, and attention to detail create an atmosphere that is both elegant and incredibly welcoming. This is not simply a place to stay. It is an experience. And then there is Gina! Her hospitality is in a class of its own. From preparing a wonderful breakfast to serving homemade banana...

"15 min outside downtown. 2 trains 5 min walk from hotel (blue/pink). Big renovated rooms with comfy beds. Pretty quiet. Breakfast is just ok. Nice bar with some food until 10pm."
