"We loved the close proximity to the beach and areas of interest. We walking distance to dining, kayaking, and boating tours of the island. You are also 25 minutes away from Savannah. "We checked in at the Desoto hotel and were escorted to the B & B by hotel staff. The B and B is a beautiful condo that has 3 guest rooms and a full kitchen available to guests along with 2 common balcony areas, one with a dining area and the other for sitting. There is a dining area where you are greeted by the Innkeeper Rick MacDuff who is from Scotland and wears his klan kilt. The breakfast he and his wife have prepared are all natural ingredients and mostly Scottish influence. Gluten free...

"Been there multiple times over recent years and we always enjoy our stay. A couple things we didn't care for this visit 1) Continuous calls from the Concierge desk. Letting us know at check in about specials and discounts is enough, i don't want notes left on our hotel door, calls, etc. 2) More pool chairs need to be set out during peak season. If every single chair is taken each morning by 9am thats annoying for guests. "
"This isn't an oceanside resort, it's a clean and affordable getaway with a pool, beach chairs for rent, and a walk right across the street to the sea. I'd come back. Free parking!"
