"We were up all night because the room smelled of paint. The building was undergoing renovations. To combat the smell, we kept all the windows open. Unfortunately, we couldn’t reach customer service because it’s automated, and you never speak to a real person. It was the worst experience. I’ve switched to the Heritage hotel, but I can’t say it’s any better. In fact, it’s probably worse. There’s construction scaffolding, and it’s incredibly loud. I’m disappointed with Marriott."

"Royal Palms is nicely located, went for mini reunion with Navy vets and wives. 1st the good…. Staff was great (Becky) very helpful. Best thing about the room… the bed, very comfortable. The bad…. If you notice on the motel pictures and description, the bathroom is omitted. It is barely functional and in some cases, not functional. The sink is tiny with a faucet that is too big to allow use when shaving or brushing teeth. The shower is roomy and very functional. In the one bed rooms,...

"This hotel is very clean with the nicest staff you'll ever meet. The chef Sheila is an amazing chef , food made with love. Eat in and you'll be happy. Very safe and secure location. " I am writing to report an issue during my stay in room 333 on March 11, 2026. I woke up to find that I had been bitten by bed bugs. I informed the owner of the situation and she said that she didn't believe me and didn't have time to view the photos and asked that I email the photos to her. The email she provided was invalid. She also told me not to come back. I look forward to your prompt response regarding this matter I have photos of my findings, if needed. "

"We had a 4th floor room and had a complete ocean view. Everything was very nice. My only complaint was the shower water pressure was pretty low. Check in was great the manager gave us an upgrade and a lot of info for the area.Check out was easy, just a call and leave your keys in the room and you're on your way."

"Hotel nice actually, better than the Savannah Hyatt. Room was modern and bed comfy. Staff friendly. There is a washer and dryer for guest use and its convenient when it works. Continental breakfast and coffee good. Coligny beach park only 6 min drive. Pretty much close to everything. I dont know about the smell some people mention but my room was fine. Would stay here again. "

"No one cleaned room. There was a dripping sound coming from the bathroom ceiling a good part of stay. Needed to close bathroom door not to hear it. Reported it to staff. No safe in room. 5 hangers in closet. Had to request more. Shower floor slippery. Breakfast was very nice. "
