At this home, you can bring the entire family along, which means up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional fee. In the morning, step outside to feel the fresh mountain breeze on your face while sipping your morning coffee in the rocking chairs on the wraparound deck, or take a seat at the kitchen bar to enjoy a hearty breakfast of pancakes, bacon, and fresh fruit before embarking on your adventures for the day. In the afternoon, return home and take some time for yourself by reading a book in the cozy upstairs loft or taking an afternoon catnap. In the evening, use the spacious chef's kitchen and charcoal grill to whip up a smoky and delectable dinner of BBQ wings or steak to be enjoyed at the outdoor dining table while the sun sets over the majestic mountain peaks.

After dinner, enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine on the deck around the fire table while swapping stories, roasting s'mores, and planning out tomorrow's activities. Located within a designated IDA (International Dark Sky Community), you'll be able to watch the constellations dance and sparkle across the sky on clear nights. Days Like This is located in the quaint town of Marion within the private Grants Mountain community, offering endless natural beauty along with the convenience of being 2 miles from downtown. Spend your days exploring the many shops, cafes, and restaurants before enjoying some nightlife at Mica Town Brewing Company and Spillway Bridge & Co., or head over to the charming town of Black Mountain, which offers even more shops, art galleries, parks, and incredible restaurants like Fresh Woodfired Pizza, Open Oven Cafe & Bakery, and Tayloe's Oyster Bar.

For lake enthusiasts, this home is around 35 minutes from Lake James and just under 50 minutes from Lake Lure, where you can spend your days sunbathing, swimming, and boating. For hiking enthusiasts, this home is about an hour's drive from the "gorge"-ous Linville Gorge Wilderness area and iconic Blue Ridge Parkway, which offers plenty of overlooks and hiking opportunities to choose from. Please note: This house is dog-friendly, with a $100.00 non-refundable fee per dog (maximum of two). Sorry, this home is not cat-friendly due to common allergies. There are EXTERIOR security cameras and a Ring doorbell camera on the property. We recommend purchasing your own bundle of wood or Duraflame pressed logs at a local grocery store for the wood-burning fireplace. While paved roads make it easy to access this mountaintop paradise, we still strongly recommend arriving during daylight hours the first time to get your bearings.

Greybeard homes are located in close proximity to Pisgah National Forest. Ladybugs and Kudzu Beetles may be seen in our area in the fall and winter months, and it is not uncommon for them to find their way into homes to escape the cooler weather from time to time. They are not poisonous and cannot be exterminated.
