Amazing experience
Really enjoyed our stay at The Louise. The staff there was very attentive and friendly during our 2-night stay there. They always had a smile and made it a truly comfortable experience. The restaurant Appellation had the most amazing and unobstructed view of the vineyards. We found it very relaxing to watch sunset every evening as we dined there.

Perfect place to stay and enjoy all the Barossa has to offer. Staff friendly and we were well looked after and made feel special. Lovely relaxing weekend.

We had the most wonderful night here for a special wedding anniversary. Beautiful property, we especially loved the infinity pool, great hospitality and also the lovely room. Would recommend to others for a special occasion.

Fantastic weekend
Our stay at The Louise was wonderful. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent, the room had an amazing view and the outdoor shower Was a nice surprise! I can’t wait to go back again.

This is a truly beautiful place to stay. Lots of room lovely decor quality furnishings indoors and out. Courtyard at the front and patio out the back overlooking a vineyard. Well equipped mini bar breakfast (included in room rate) was very nice. We didn't get to try the restaurant but i am certain that would be great too! Check in was simple and friendly. The place is a little secluded but no problem with a car and lots of activities that can be arranged by the staff Perfect!!

The bar/dining area looks a little dated ... an opportunity to create something quite special ... the bar area in particular is more like a waiting room !

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm happy to report that we are actually undertaking a significant renovation of our bar as we speak. The new area, with uninterrupted views over our special wine valley, will be opening in about 2 weeks time. We hope you'll visit us again and enjoy this new space!

I'm sorry that you our in suite breakfast program didn't live up to your expectations and I hope that the rest of your time at The Louise was enjoyable. Many of our guests love the opportunity to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the comfort of their suite while keeping the restaurant as a special space to enjoy a memorable evening meal. In saying that, we understand that choice is the greatest luxury and we've actually spent the last few months building a brand new bar and kitchen which will operate as a breakfast restaurant for our guests. We're very excited to extend our breakfast offering to this location from December and hope that you'll come back to experience our new program!

Vi hadde tre fantastiske dager på the Louise. De ansatte var superhyggelige og hjelpsomme med hva enn det skulle være. Beliggenheten er fantastisk med utsikt over vinranker i alle retninger. Kommer til å dra tilbake igjen!

Spitzenmässiges 5* Hotel. Gute Lage mitten in den Weinbergen. 100m2 Suite, schöne Aussicht, sauber und modern eingerichtet. Qualitativ hochstehendes Bett mit Inhalt. Sehr guter Portwein und Biskuit stehen zur Verfügung. Grosser TV mit vielen Programme sowie sehr gutes WLAN. Nasszelle auf dem modernsten Stand. Im Aussenbereich eine Regendusche. Abgeschirmter Sitzplatz und eigenes abschliessbares Zugangstor. Gediegenes Morgenessen in der Suite. Das dazugehörende Restaurant gehört zur Spitzenklasse, in jeder Beziehung!

Beautifully peaceful location over-looking the Barossa vineyards. Sunsets incredible! Only one complaint - shower in the evening, as the hot water was scarce in the mornings.

Best place to stay in the Barrosa
What an amazing few nights we had. Super service, super accommodation, super dinning room and excellent wines. Breakfast is delightful, delivered to you every morning at your requested time and they will gladly set it up for you as well!. There is also an amazing pool and sauna with a self serve honour bar.Free WiFi was great as well

Great room, BIG shame about the restaurant!
Having stayed at many of the luxury Lodges of Australia, we were very much looking forward to staying at the Louise for a couple of days. We were greeted warmly at the front walkway and shown to our suite for a guided tour of the room amenities - which were all fabulous as expected. Our hearts soon broke however when we were told that the restaurant, Appellation was closed the two days of our stay. We were not told of this while we booked through the site. In reading the fine-print at the end of our booking details it did say restaurant 'OPEN SELECT DAYS' - that's it. If we knew that it was closed on the Wednesday and Thursday of our booking, we definitely wouldn't of stayed there. Also being a little out of the township, room service was the only food option offered. In saying that, the menu options (although very limited) were lovely. We enjoyed the comfort of the fireplace and deep bath in the room - outside shower lights did not work unfortunately. Beautiful and quiet location with great views of the vineyard - perfect for the daily in room full breakfast offered - which was a delight.

Loved staying at this hotel. We were blessed enough for an upgrade and we could not fault the room. Everything you needed for a comfortable stay was in there. Plus the breakie in room service is such a lovely touch. Staff were on point with service and the fact that they freshened the room more than once every day made things that extra more special.

Great boutique hotel in the Barossa
Excellent boutique hotel. Lovely touches like complimentary cookies and port on arrival and complimentary fruit that is topped up each day. Loved having breakfast served in the suite. Very spacious suites. Hotel has a gym, sauna and outdoor pool. So peaceful and quiet. Great place for a relaxing break.

Great place to stay in the Barossa Valley
We have enjoyed our stay at the Louise. Very good service, nice rooms indoor and places to seat outdoor, e.g. to eat breakfast or enjoy the view. Lot of privacy included. Unfortunately, the fine dining restaurant "Appelation" is only opened during the weekend - which seems to be the case for all fine dining restaurants in this region.

We had a lovely stay. The suite was fantastic, service from all staff first class and the food at Appellation very good indeed. We will definitely return.

The Louise is very likely the most luxurious option in the Barossa, but I'd recommend staying there only during Spring or Fall, or even Winter. Summertime will see the villas crawling with millipedes, Christmas bugs, spiders, and flies. For cityfolk like us, that was quite an experience. Each day after returning from wine tours, we had to inspect the room for aforesaid creepy-crawlies. Suffice it to say, the bug repellent was very well-used. That said, service was personable and gracious, they were very efficient in assisting to make reservations in the Barossa restaurants and various tours. Make sure to dine at the in-house restaurant, Appellation, too. Food and service was excellent.

Beautiful accommodation and service to match.
We were on a family holiday and our choice was The Louise. The accommodation is excellent and so was the service. The suites are well appointed and the facilities great.

The Pick of the Crop
We stayed 2 nights at The Louise and were very impressed. The staff were incredibly attentive and the room was very comfortable and full of extras. The location is close to some of the better wineries and set on a gorgeous property. We ate at the bar where I had some amazing donuts. We were both very impressed.

Infinity pool was great! Loved balcony overlooking vineyards as well. It was a nice hotel overall but bit pricey.

The only place to stay in barossa!
Louise is the perfect place to stay if you plan to do some winery visits in Barossa Valley. Its very close to the most famous wineries and the amazing restaurant at Hentley Farm which is just down the road from our hotel (but still best to drive). The service is impeccable. We had a lovely time there, will definitely be back!
