"Parking lot: big dog poop, homeless people hanging out. One night the police were in the parking lot watching. Room: pungent smell when opening the door. We had to air out the room for quite some time. We were not sure about insects, but they ended up not being any so we stayed. Appeared to be a halfway house and a lot of commotion going on. I would never go back and advise anyone to go in."

"Hot tub doesn’t work, bathroom by the pool is locked. The only plug in the bathroom was right in the corner. You had to tip the huge mirror out to even plug in your hair dryer. But great proximity to sea World. "

"I never stay in any Motel 6's..because of the amenities..I stay there cause it will have a shower and bed..that's it..and it will be inexpensive...now this property seemed to be under new owners...the outside of property is very well lit..I think cause their are alot of shady characters walking around..being next to freeway, is also a little noisy...now the pool is large and plenty of chairs to relax on..the location is really why you stay here tho..very centralized to everything in San...

"The setup of this property is troublesome for those with disabilities. My family of 7 required a family suite. The only family suites available are on the second floor, with no elevator access. Not a great fit when you have a child/children who have problems with stairs. It is also frustrating that the rooms specifically for larger parties, who will most likely have more luggage, are only available on the second floor."

"I reserved a veranda room but was assigned a room that faced a wall and an area of dirt, with neither a view nor a usable balcony. When I brought this to the staff’s attention, I was told there was nothing they could do because the hotel was at capacity. This was surprising, as we arrived around 1:30 PM, well before the official check-in time. So it was unclear how the property could already be fully booked. "Great value for the location. The motel is in an excellent spot with convenient access to shops, restaurants, and beachside bars. It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect for the price. The rooms are older but very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Late-night check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Overall, an affordable stay in a great location, definitely worth it. Will come back again next month. One last thing Danny was very helpful throughout our stay."
