"My husband and I spent a week at mermaids retreat and absolutely loved it! We took full advantage of the kayaks and went out on the bay multiple times. Beach access was easy to find and not far away at all. The space was perfect for two of us and it was well stocked with all the things you need from coffee to beach chairs. Would stay again! "

"The place is very cute had an amazing bay view from inside and out. So relaxing. Well stocked just like home. Make sure you look for email from Paradise Bay for check in details. Beach closer than shows on map. Literally just walk across the main rd and over a few feet. 5 minutes tops. (I think parking at the local beach is a further walk). Sunsets were absolutely stunning every night. Had a nice time looking for shark teeth/fossils. Found the most with a small garden shovel in the thick ridge...

"We were in the area specifically to find sharks teeth and this was a great location for it. The beach was literally right out the front door and we did find several teeth at the beach here! Our neighbor found several just walking around the parking lot! The place was clean and had chairs/umbrella/cooler provided so whether you stayed on this beach or decided to drive to any other nearby beaches you would have everything you needed for a great day! We drove up to Manasota beach as well to look...

"The house is easy to find and very close to the beach. Ownership has it very well stocked and it was as clean as anywhere you’ve ever visited. Having two kitchens was really nice and the private pool was a relaxing way to close out the day. This will definitely be a repeat vacation destination for my family."

"Lovely, clean place to stay! The unit was completely redone recently. Kayaks were great to use on Lemon Bay. Beach 2 block walk away but Unit comes with beach cart, beach chairs & umbrella. Quiet neighborhood. Great kitchen and even a grill in the backyard. Check in was super easy and the 2 owners were quick to respond to my questions. Would stay here again "

"By far one of the best stays I have ever had when traveling. Everything Heather and Rod have put into their units is meticulous and truly beneficial. There is honestly nothing more I feel they could provide. They have plenty of cleaning supplies and kitchen items to use, even spare batteries. They literally told us to bring our clothes and that is all we needed aside from food. We are already planning our next trip and will be staying with them. "

"This place was amazing! Us and a few other families rented out the entire property for the weeknd. Our house was modern and set up so perfectly. They have everything you might possibly need covered inside and out. More than enough dishes, cooking utensils, and storage containers. "This property did not disappoint. The unit we stayed in was so clean with high end furnishings, and everything we needed. The view of the bay , right outside our window, was astonishing. Saw a few other occupants and all were friendly. Very quiet and everyone followed the rules. My only suggestion for improvement would be to repair the dock and refurbish the beach with sand. I hope to return someday. "
