"It was late when we arrived.We got a taxi from the airport for 14. Alice had kindly bought us bread, cheese, ham, butter and water so that we didn't have to go looking for the 24hr supermarket when we arrived. We loved the location looking onto the bay. It was on a main road but not too noisy.The area we stayed in (around Birzebbuga) wasn't touristy but you could walk 5-10mins to some nice restaurants and bars or prepare food in the apartment, which was well equipped. "

"The location is fantastic, within seconds of great restauarants and bars and all the sights. The apartment is atmospheric and full of character. We were grateful to be able to drop our bags early prior to the official chekck-in time.
However, there were also some serious disadvantages. The apartment is 'tired' and in need of some love and attention, especially the soft-furnishings which were stained and dirty, including the dining room chairs, the sofa, and all of the cushions on the rooftop...

"The house is much bigger than it looks in the photos and is really well equipped. There are 2 great roof terraces and a shady patio. It really is a fabulous house and will sleep 6 comfortably in 3 double bedrooms. The kitchen has everything you need except for a decent kitchen knife and there are little extra touches such as small boxes of toiletries. There are lots of books and DVDs. However, it's difficult to watch the TV as you can't get a decent level of sound unless you watch YouTube or a...
