"The hotel has been newly renovated. Everything is clean and new. I would happily stay here again. The only complaint is that we were there for 4 days and at check-in, we were told that the towels would be changed after the second day and that the rubbish bin etc would be emptied. We were ok with this, however, they were never changed, and the bin was never emptied. We went to reception the following day, and new towels were provided. It would be better if they just said to come and collect more...

"Great camping option just outside MT Cook national park. We stayed in cabin with three bunk beds. Communal kitchen was fun to meet other campers especially students and families. Shower house was big and plenty of hot water. Much more affordable the hotels in the park. "

"We got upgraded to the Hermitage because of limited capacity during winter season. It was a nice upgrade in terms of us getting complimentary breakfast but it also meant that we could not cook our own food. There was no kitchenette at the Hermitage. The Hermitage was an old hotel and honestly has seen better days. It is dated but at least it is clean. Breakfast spread was great too."
