"Dominic was very welcoming and gave us a free early check in. The Edge is super close to the A subway line and if you need to be further uptown, this Hotel is a great place to stay. Had a nice gym and lounge area where you could sit and eat or just relax. Convenient location and a different experience staying in the Heights vs Midtown."

"This was close to the venue I attended in the Bronx It was clean a variety of foods Dunkin’ Donuts Burger King lMexican,Chinese and bodega. You have to beware of where you’re at. But overall I enjoy the hotel. I gave a 4 stars because they didn’t vacuum the elevator it may sound petty but the appearance of the elevator bought it down a star."

"Hotellets lobby er under ombygning, hvor det er et kedeligt indtryk, man får ved ankomst. Hotellet ser slidt ud. Værelset og badeværelset er dog rene. Sengelinned nyt og pænt. I modsætning til tidligere besøg har de ikke roomservice, hvilket var årsagen til vores valg af hotel, så det var en skuffelse. Det føles ikke som et 4 stjernet hotel."

"Strength: Very comfortable beds, nice shower and nice & quiet area (no noice at all t night).
Weakness: Small space around the toilet. Aircondition only with the single bed but not the double beds (should be in the whole room and not only the section with the single bed). With 30 degrees during the day it was a struggle to sleep in the double bed because of the heat.
I would not recommend the three bedrooms but the two bedrooms is ok (for sleeping only though)

"Fantastisk hotel i roligt kvarter med lækker morgenmad. Der var intet problem at bo uden for Manhattan. Bus til 42.street går lige fra hotellet og tager ca 25 min.
Vi havde et stort to-rums-familie-værelse med plads til fem. To gode dobbeltsenge og en mindre god sovesofa. Men ellers pænt og rent og med fuldt køkken og stort badeværelse.
Eneste problem var at der var gulvtæpper alle vegne hvilket var lidt hårdt for familiens støvallergikere.
Vi kan varmt anbefale hotellet."

"Hotel has a great location just 1 min from TS. Quiet in the evenings. But room was so cold as the windows did not have isolation. Breakfast was a joke. To sit you need to pay 6,5$ plus tax plus tip. Even though breakfast was incl. best choose was Carve breakfast to go. Staff not very informative. Storage of luggage 1$ per item same day pick up.

"Really nice hotel. I am unsure if we were just lucky with the room or if that is just the general standard, but we had a room on the 21st floor with a heavenly view of the city.
Otherwise: Great and friendly service, really clean hotel, great location and relaxing lobby with a view of the bustling sidewalk outside. Before our stay, we had cycled through 2 other hotels in New York, with comparable prices. The Beacon was, without doubt, the best value for money.
