"The resort is on a beautiful setting with the best gift of the beautiful walking path along the lagoons all the way down to the Four Seasons. Walking every day and seeing the beautiful views was the best. The room was adequate as we weren’t inside much. We were able to walk to options to eat on site or at KoOlina station and the other resort restaurants."

"The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. "The communication leading up to the visit was not the greatest. There was quite a delay in response to questions and no enthusiasm. During the visit, they checked in via VRBO app messages and seemed a bit more enthusiastic, which was nice. The home was very clean and had a lot of extra towels, not many extra blankets so keep that in mind. There’s a few boogie boards, beach mats, yoga mats, beach chairs, a cooler, scuba gear, and sand toys in the garage which is awesome! Dishes and all necessary...

"The unit was lovely! It had everything we needed for our 10 day vacation. If you’re looking for a place to stay that’s in a quieter, less touristy spot this is it. It’s located in a gated community so the location felt very safe and well maintained. There are several grocery stores and drugstores less than 10 minutes away. Keep in mind you’ll have to drive a lot to most recreational places as there’s not too much to do in Mākaha Valley. If you don’t mind driving and you want to stay somewhere...
