"OMG!! I will never stay at another hotel ever again if I have the option of staying at a place like this. I was told that this place is an upscale hostel. I don’t know what it is but it is BETTER than any upscale hotel I’ve ever stayed at with a quarter of the cost.

"We were extremely pleased with our stay in AC by Marriott Hotel Honolulu. The hotel is located in a very good location if you are going on a cruise. It was a 20 minutes walk to the pier 2 cruise terminal from hotel. The hotel was not in a congested area. It was a quiet hotel and we got a good nights sleep, The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner got the room cool. The area around hotel and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. "

The biggest problem in this area is the high number of homeless population, many with mental illness. The multiple engagements I saw hotel security staff having with them were nothing short of very confrontational and gave a very unsafe sense about the entire area, Due to the quantity and the level of drug addiction in this homeless population, I would not recommend booking a hotel...

The bed was also comfortable, nothing like clean sheets and hotel room. And OMG the view of the city from the 36th floor was spectacular , almost a 360 in the bedroom.
