Lake Michoud

This is an old hotel. The room had a chemical smell. But the staff was great! Navuje. (probably wrong spelling) at the front desk was very charming. The young man who checked us in that evening went out of his way to be accommodating. The food in the restaurant was very good. The server kind and hard working. Some upgrades would make this a great hotel...oh yes, and taxi service would be helpful. Uber and Lyft take 30-45 minutes to arrive.

Awesome stay, lication, assistance

I stay at this property last year when it was under a different owner and absolutely loved it. Fast forward to this year, I was thoroughly surprised to know that it had re-opened! We instantly settled on staying there. The property was easy to find and perfectly situated just a few blocks from Bourbon Street. Very easy to access, clean, spacious, comfortable and most of all we felt safe. The pool is such an added bonus! It's situated on the rooftop and made for a nice afternoon wind down. The owner was always accessible and offered wonderful recommendations. We were locked out in the middle of the night and had to call the customer service line and they had us back inside within second. The coffee shop/bar downstairs is such a fun surprise! Would definitely stay again.
