Fantastic lake house Laid Back Living with gorgeous views of Norris Lake!

Go no further! You can have the best of ALL worlds at Laid Back Living with gorgeous views of the mountains, trees and the beautiful pristine waters of Norris Lake, along with the many amenities that this home in popular Lakeside Estates has to offer! It rents Sunday to Sunday during peak summer season. Laid Back Living was built in 2016 with vacationers like you in mind. There is plenty of available parking right at the house and FREE internet and long distance telephone.

This 2-story lake house features spacious living areas on each level with a stained wood vaulted ceiling, a fireplace and expansive windows to greet you as you walk into the main level in this open concept floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen has granite countertops with plenty of seating available to enjoy your company at the oversized dining table as well as the large kitchen island/bar. Step out to the elevated deck from the kitchen/dining area and take in the views while drinking your morning coffee! The large covered deck includes a gas grill and tables & chairs for outdoor dining enjoyment. There are two bedrooms (each with a King bed) and two bathrooms also on the main level.

The lower level has a large family room area with couches, big flat screen TV and an air hockey table. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms on this level, one with a King bed, one with a Queen bed, another with a Queen bed and Full/Full bunk and the other with a Double bed and Twin/Twin bunk. There is also a laundry room on this floor with washer & dryer. Walk out to the lower deck and relax in the hot tub after a long day! A short set of stairs off the lower deck leads you to the firepit and corn hole area for more family fun and entertainment! Here you can access the golf cart/walking path that takes you to the private double decker dock. Or simply take the COMPLIMENTARY GOLF CART!

The upper level of the 2-story double decker dock features a large round table with 8 chairs so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while right on the water. Oh, and did I mention the dock has a slide? Super fun for kids (and adults) of all ages!! The dock has one covered slip and 2 other areas with cleats to tie up your watercraft. No watercraft? No problem! There are several places on the lake that rent boats and/or jet skis. And for the non-motorized water enthusiasts, there are 2 kayaks and a paddleboard for your enjoyment!

Lakeside Estates is a gated community with private boat ramp, community pool and walking trails. A quiet cove surrounds the neighborhood which is located near the famous Cedar Creek Jumping Bridge and Sugar Hollow Marina. Sugar Hollow Marina is a full-service marina with a restaurant, live entertainment during certain times of the year, fuel and ice. Vacationing on Norris Lake will be one of the most fun and memorable times you could ever share with your friends and family. Whether you are boating, fishing or spending the day swimming or just lounging, you will enjoy the calm clean waters of the lake and its surroundings. Staying in Lakeside Estates feels like a true getaway, yet you are only 10-15 minutes from grocery, restaurants and shopping. Taking a break from the lake or visiting in the off season? Enjoy the nearby ATV park, golfing at one of the local golf courses or a quick day trip shopping in Pigeon Forge.

Fun spot

A nice property with open upstairs great for gatherings. Plenty of beds/pillow/blankets. Property manager was responsive. Lake access is a bit of a haul but a fun dock. You are nestled next to several other cabins and we just happened to be there when several loud college groups were there so the music was constantly blaring but we would rent again. Great house

Nice home in a quiet cove

Very nice home in a no wake cove. Property is not waterfront but a golf cart is provided to get you and your belongings to the water! Very spacious home with plenty for our young adult kids to do. Home is as advertised in the pictures and the property manager and owner very responsive to any concerns that we had!!

Security deposit

It was stated that we would get a full refund of our security deposit 14 days after checkout, but it is now almost 3 weeks and we have received nothing and have not been told of any damages which there absolutely were no damages. This was in the mailing we received on the Monday before we checked in. Otherwise, the house was great, and the area is definitely a location we will come back to in the future.

Fun Family Lake time!

The home was the perfect size for our reunion. The kitchen was spacious and the two fridges were awesome. House and furnishings were comfortable. Everyone commented on how the beds slept good. Didnt like having to make our own beds, first rental Ive encountered that does it that way. We were missing two pillow cases. The manager responded to all my text and got them to us right away. The hilly golf cart path was a little steep in spots that made us nervous, but didnt take away from us enjoying the property, the dock or the lake. We were down there everyday except one when we went to Dollywood. Plenty to do on Norris Lake. We loved the cave by point 19, Froggies and Shanghai.

60th celebration

The house was beautiful and the amenities were awesome! It had everything our family needed for a wonderful family celebration. The only issue was that the stove had a major electrical issue on our first full day there which prevented us from cooking for several days. we had family dinners planned that we were not able to cook. Also, we lost time on the lake, waiting for someone to come and fix it! The other thing that I would add, is that the hot tub was not very hot I would call it more of a warm tub!

Lake Vacation

Beautiful home with plenty of space for a large group to stay comfortably. Lake access was easy with the golf cart and we enjoyed the dock and slide. The lake cove did not have a lot of boat traffic which made it fun and safe to play. We had 6 vehicles at one point which made the driveway a little challenging but is very accommodating with 4. We loved the area.

Beautiful Home, Great location

We loved our stay - the home was beautiful, just as described on the site. The open kitchen/living room was perfect for our group. The walk down to the dock was a bit long and steep - but the golf cart was an awesome addition that made it easy! we loved how close the fire pit was to the house - we spent a cold day sitting around the fire and it almost made up for not being on the lake :) Only minor disappointment (although not huge, because weather was cold) was that the pool was not filled. Might be helpful to note the dates that the pool is open in the listing. Would definitely stay again.

Cousins Reunion

We rented both properties so it was nice we could accommodate our large group. Our hot tub was nice but the other property next door could not get their hot tub to work so we shared. We were a little disappointed that we could not get down to the dock this time of year due to the water levels being down but enjoyed the beautiful colors of the trees surrounding us. We would definitely stay again.

Great Trip!

There were 14 adults that stayed in the house. It was perfect for what we needed. The weather was too cool to enjoy the lake, so we stayed in, watched football and enjoyed the fire pit. The hot tub may have had too much chlorine as it seemed very strong so we did not use it. The golf cart came in handy when we went down to the dock or needed to take the trash to the top of the driveway. Although, it didn't seem to hold charge for very long, it worked well enough for us. The table upstairs was perfect for meals and playing games. It was large enough for us all. We enjoyed our stay!!

Perfect Lake Getaway!

Laid Back Living lived up to its name! The house was perfect for our annual family trip to the lake. We had lots of fun at the dock and sitting out on the back deck. House setup is perfect for multiple families. Very clean and offered everything we needed. Great spot for a getaway! Thank you!

Great place

House is large and comfortable. Kitchen is very functional for large group. We enjoyed the deck, firepit, dock and kayaks. Dock is a bit of walk but the golf cart came in handy for those unable to get around as well.

Disappointments but we were able to make the most of it.

Despite the hot tub being broken upon our arrival, we enjoyed this lovely home. We were very disappointed and had rented the house based on the house having a usable hot tub. Communication was good with the property manager and attempts were made to fix the tub but in my opinion the tub should have been in working order days before we arrived. Again, we were very disappointed and made the best of it. The house is very family friendly, large table in kitchen and 2 refrigerators made it great for Thanksgiving. Having the golf cart to use was a plus. The grandchildren enjoyed riding around. However, getting down to the dock with it was a treacherous journey and one that I decided not to even attempt.

What a lovely place for a retreat with a group of eight college friends

Laid Back Living house is very large for many folks with outstanding views of the woods water of Lake Norris. The top floor was ideal for us with an open kitchen, large dinning table and den area. Sleeping arrangements excellent as well. Just had a swell time in a very nice place.

Multi-generation family vacation

There was plenty of room for our family group of 14. There were a few minor incidents, but most were taken care of very quickly. The only one that was not fixable was a gas grill with burnt out burners. The home owner will be replacing it sometime this month. All in all great trip.

Outside needs work

The inside of house clean, beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. The upper outside deck needs cleaning, we couldn't and wouldn't use the grill , because of major buildup of dirt, food and grease. The carpetball table, falling apart, couldn't use it. Part of The stairs at the dock, under water, very dangerous, ladder for climbing out of lake, gross, used a neighbor dock to get out. Just updates need to be done. Enjoyed having 2 refrigerators.

Good service

Had some issues with problems in the neighborhood and the house. The couple managing the rental were quick to respond and quick to resolve the problems. Very nice to work with and we’re able to come to a quick resolution of the problem. House was very nice and a great location to access the lake.

Celebrating my parents 50th Anniversary!

Great halfway point for entire family to meet! The house was the perfect size for all 16 of us, patios/fire pit/hot tub and the dock provided daily entertainment, just be prepared to get a workout in from the walk to the lake. We enjoyed every minute of our week together!
