"Family met and stayed there for a graduation. Location was good for ceremony and lots of restaurants. We enjoyed the bar for a late evening gathering spot. Breakfast at Wolfgang Puck was good and reasonably priced."

"This was a nice hotel to stay at in a great location to downtown. It’s very close to everything. The staff was great. My only complaint was the housekeeping staff. They originally skipped cleaning our room, so I called to have it freshened up while we were going to be gone. We came back only to find one bed was made, none of the garbage was taken out, and the only thing they really did was bring fresh towels. They could do a much better job. Other than housekeeping, we had a great stay."

"This was an affordable option in the middle of downtown GR. We came for a graduation. It’s walkable from Van Andel arena and the bar scene. Was pretty impressed with the atmosphere and cleanliness of rooms."

"The outside is very poorly maintained, and I was very worried about what I’d find on the inside when I pulled up. When I went in, they were not able to accommodate a 1-hr early check-in at all. The lobby where other guests and I waited appeared clean and well-maintained. The restaurant is currently under construction and not open. "The pool was nice. The bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. The hotel was pretty run down with worn carpeting. In our room, the carpeting was newer. The room had been painted recently, but there were paint runs and spatters. The toilet seat was broken and the shampoo container was broken off the shower wall. There was a faint unpleasant odor in the room."
