Customer comes first. Excellent hotel, great staff
Hotel Sirkeci Konak is very well situated, well kept and standard of service is uncomparable. Decor is tasty and "oriental", creating atmosphere of 1001 nights. All staff of the hotel and restaurants are extremely friendly, nice, caring, attentive. Breakfast was very good and with great variety of food. There are two restaurants in the hotel, our best meals in Istanbul we got in these restaurants. You get first class food and service at extremely reasonable price. Lay out of restaurants is welcoming and it is nice atmosphere. Spa was sparkling clean, hammam excellent and staff helpful. Cleaning standard is in top, room and bathroom were spotless at all times. Hotel Launge and tea served in the afternoon create family atmosphere and good spirit among guests. In this hotel customer comes first. I have been staying in many hotels in Europe, USA, Australia, Asia. Never have i experienced such caring attitude. Many thanks.

Such a great find! Perfect location literally 30 seconds to tram and 2 minutes to Metro. Right by entrance to Gulhane Park which you can cut through to access Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosques. The hotel has so many free extras - bagels and Turkish tea, Turkish delight in room, bottled water on room plus free tours and a cookery lesson. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would not hesitate to book again if returning to Istanbul 😀

Tolle Lage, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter. Die Massage bei Wedat ist absolut zu empfehlen! Lediglich das Frühstück ist ehrlich gesagt nicht so toll und die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig. Dennoch ist das Hotel allein schon wegen der Lage empfehlenswert.

Die Lage des Hotels war perfekt. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und gut. Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und alt, hier könnte etwas modernisiert werden. Ich kann dieses Hotel aber auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

I returned to this property after a more than ten year absence and it was just as good as the first time. It's a little larger now but that has not diminished its charm or amenities. The staff continue to be superb doing everything they can to make.You'll stay as pleasant as possible. I shall, of course, return to this hotel next time I am in istanbul.

The service was exceptional, the breakfasts good and varied day to day, our room was very quiet and the front desk staff could not have been more helpful. We particularly enjoyed the History of trade tour led by one of the managers, which showed us parts of the city we would never have discovered by ourselves.

We stayed for 6 nights, great location (walkable to major sightseeing sites, train station, port to catch sea buses to Asia side and new district in north). Staffs were friendly and hard working, rooms (we had connecting rooms) were clean with nice amenities. They even celebrated my husband’s birthday with a small cake and gifts. We will definitely come back when we visit Istanbul again!

This hotel and the staff exceeded every expectation. The room was exceptionally clean and the bedding very comfortable. We had a room with a view of the park across the street, and the hotel is close to the tram and many good restaurants. In spite of the convenient location, it was on a quiet side street! The best thing about the hotel, however, was the incredible staff. When our trip had a few wrinkles, through no fault of theirs, they helped us sort things out and it made for a wonderful trip. I hope we can return to this gracious hotel some day soon.

A beautiful hotel located in a very convenient spot near several great shops, restaurants and points of interest in the city. It's just across the road from Gülhane Park, a tram stop on the T1 line and the Marmaray train station. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

We loved everything about this hotel from the location in the heart of the old city to the friendly and very helpful staff. The Ottoman style was just right and very clean. The breakfasts provided plenty of variety, and we appreciated the afternoon tea time as well. The hotel arranged for transfers from, and to, different airports, booked restaurants, and answered many questions about this overwhelming city. We stayed 5 nights and wished it could have been more. The room was very comfortable and for being in the heart of the city on a little shopping street next to Gulhane park, it was quiet. Great staff, friendly people, really pleasant to come back to after a day of jostling with the crowds on the streets of Istanbul!

This hotel really made our week in Istanbul special. The facilities are great - clean, nice hammam, excellent breakfast, good lounge area - but above all it's the staff that make the place so great. They are always friendly, helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. The hotel manager, Okay Alkan, organises tours several times a week. These show you parts of Istanbul away from the obvious tourist sites and are absolutely free (the hotel even pay the tram fares!). Okay is really friendly, knowledgeable and keen to share the culture of his city with visitors. These tours were real highlights of our stay. We had a huge, comfortable bed and a view towards Gulhane Park and Topkapi Palace (in a standard room). The kettle was a bonus for us Brits too! The street the hotel is on is quiet with very little traffic, but it's an easy walk to all the main sites and about 100 yards from a tram stop so the location could not be better. If (hopefully when!) we return to Istanbul we won't even consider staying anywhere else.

Lovely local hotel, did not use it look at pool/spa area but others seemed to enjoy…the location was perfect, staff attentive and super friendly breakfast was above average as compared to the other local hotels we stayed at and the breakfast room was very nice…living room bar area was perfect for getting in off the street and using as community area(they serve afternoon tea and treats but we missed every day as we were out!) nice cold beer and drinks, but welcome to bring anything in and use area! Beds and rooms very comfortable..location a bit hard for taxi to locate so if you are not an able walker this is not your spot but if you are the location is PERFECT

My experience was undeniably horrific and I don’t wish it on my worst enemy. First of all, the hotel has no parking, and when you finally find parking, good luck hauling your luggage on interlock streets that will break the wheels. Once you actually get to the hotel, you are faced with extremely racist and unprofessional staff who will go above and beyond to make you feel unwelcome. Overall, you are taking some serious chances by giving this place your money and time so do your homework and learn from my experience

The location is great easy to walk 10-15 minutes to Aya Sofya, Blue mosque, hippodrome and the hotel overlooks amazing local park. The hotel is dated, breakfast is okay, cleaning and breakfast staff are great, very welcoming and friendly. There is a small pool, massage services too. I would stay again and try to get a room facing the park on a higher floor.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The suite is exceptional with Jacuzzi. View of the park is lovely. Walking distance for all tourist attractions. Tram is only few yards up the road. It’s convenient to get around. Was here for 3 nights but would have preferred to stay a few more days to enjoy other parts of the city and use full hotel facilities. Will visit this hotel again. Definitely recommend.

We (a family of four) stayed at Sirkeci Mansion for 3 nights. The place is very close to all the major attractions and the Old City. The staff is very friendly and helpful in making reservations. We attended a free cooking class conducted by Okay (pronounced Okkaai) which was excellent. The rooms are of moderate size but extremely clean and pretty. Old City of Istanbul is wonderful -- especially the area around the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia, especially at night. Praying in Blue Mosque was a highlight. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this wonderful place.

Very nice stay! The hotel is in the perfect location to visit all the great attractions of Istanbul. The rooms are cosy, the general atmosphere very nice. But what makes this hotel very special are the people, Mr. Okay and his team. They make you welcome the moment you step through the door….and they are always there for the guests. I can highly recommend Sirkeci Mansion
