Poor communications
Asked in advance about late check-out, but didn't get any reply from the hotel. At the arrivel to the hotel (around 19.00) asked again regarding late check-out. After long discussion back and forth got abother ( cheeper) room and late check-out. Next morning at 12.00 cleaning stuff started to disturb me and asked, if I'm going to check-out. Had to talk with reception several times and finally change my room. I could avoid all these troubles if i could get another room from the beginning, so i didn't have to cheng it. Another thing to mention: poor breakfast.

God placering i den historiske del af byen. Man skal gå en lille smule (ca. 15 min) til den nærmeste metro, men placeringen er alligvel rimelig god. Medarbejderens var venlige og der var god service.

Venlig og hjertelig betjening
Fik en usædvanlig venlig, men også hjertelig betjening af receptionen (Mustafa). Der var fuld attention på gæsternes ve og vel, og min kone og jeg fik bestemt en flot betjening og attention.

Great - nothing less than great!
We had a very positive overall experience - definately the right choice, when staying in Istanbul for visiting the many interesting places. Thanks to the very helpful staff, who always are alert, friendly and interested in your comfort, this smaller and almost new hotel will be our very prefered choice for a next time visit. It goes without saying, that you most probably will experience the same, if you chose this lovely hotel, with a great sea view and all atractions within a radius of just 1 km.

This was our first time in Instanbul. This hotel was great since we could walk to the Faith district easily. The staff super friendly and helpful. We use Expedia for all the tickets and activities we did. We will return, there is a lot to explore in Turkey.

Property needs updating. The staff were nice especially Selim . Rooms have very dim lighting making it difficult to read. No bottled water supplied free. Bathroom no fan so it stayed wet for hours-& everything got wet. Small balcony door nearly fell off when opened so of course we didn’t open it again. Cold in the room & then heat turned on by staff without telling us making the room boiling hot. Most of the staff don’t speak English so hard to communicate. It’s in an inconvenient spot to be picked up by transport. Within walking distance to Sultanahmet square. Good water views. Not bad food.

The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional professionalism and made commendable efforts to ensure guests felt welcome and valued. Their service deserves a 5-star rating. However, there is room for improvement in certain areas. The towels provided were not pristine white and could benefit from replacement. Additionally, the decor of the rooms could be modernized to create a more contemporary ambiance. Despite these observations, the hotel's location is highly advantageous.

Kleines Hotel in der Altstadt im europäischen Teil Istanbuls. Die Lage ist perfekt fürs Erkunden, da die meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Wir hatten das Eckzimmer mit Balkon und direkten Blick auf den Bosporus. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend und gut.

The hotel had really good views over the sea and the Blue Mosque. It was quiet and everything was in working order. The staff were all very pleasant and the breakfast area was well attended and restocked when items ran out. Only one criticism. We were charged twice for our stay because the receptionist did not believe us when we told him we had already paid. There was some confusion on our part. The manager has assured us that a refund is on its way.

We have been for a week with my mum, Salih and Ismail are very nice and lovely. They help you anytime for anything. All the staff are perfect! The hotel is good situated and the breakfast is big with all the dishes. Thank you for everything all of you :) God bless you ! Myriam

All the staff we had encountered were very courteous and helpful with our needs. The breakfast was good but probably needs more variety everyday. It’s walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia, Grand Bazaar but what we really enjoyed was the little bazaar just on the street above the hotel before the Blue Mosque. There’s many shops and restaurants around to choose from. We had a beautiful view of the Bosphorus everyday for 6 days. Thank you to all the wonderful staff for a comfortable accommodation.

Wonderful location, great hotel. There was so much to do in our brief stopover in Istanbul that we didn’t have time to use all the facilities but our stay was made by the friendly amazing staff, especially Salih and Aaron. A small booking issue that could have caused a big problem was dealt with instantly and on site instead of being passed back to Expedia, and countless other small interactions over 48 hours meant we had a brilliant time. We loved our time in Istanbul, but the guide books are right about the hustle going on - watch out for anything that doesn’t have a list price (although of course you can haggle!)

Hotel authority didn’t mention that mini bar products including water and soft drinks comes with extra price . Asked is there any alcohol in the fridge, one of the staffs said no . We opened two bottles and found it was alcohol, had to discard and pay the price.

We also spoke the topic of alcohol with you during your stay. You have only told to the staff member that you didn’t want the beers in the minibar fridge and he has taken out only the beers. If you had said that you didn’t want any alcohol in the minibar fridge, the staff would have taken all the alcohol out. The fact that you opened two wine bottles or drank them and poured them down the sink is your own responsiblity. We hope that you will visit us again and give us an opportunity to reverse your most recent negative experience into a wonderful one.Best regards,

Lage: Hagia Sophia, versunkener Palast, Topkapi Palast, großer Basar und Meer sehr gut zu Fuß erreichbar (5-15min). Viele Möglichkeiten einzukaufen oder zu essen. Zimmer: wir hatten ein Balkon Zimmer im 4-en Stock (Aufzug vorhanden) . Links war das Meer, rechts die Kuppeln der blauen Moschee zu sehen welche nachts sehr schön beleuchtet war. Es war sauber , wie das gesamte Hotel. Beim Frühstück konnte man die Schiffe auf dem Meer beobachten. Es war reichhaltig und für jeden was dabei . Personal: Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Hier nochmals vielen Dank an LIUBA welche uns mit ihrer freundlichen und positiven Art für alle fragen immer hilfsbereit und mit wertvollen Tipps . Ich würde das Hotel (sollten wir wieder nach Istanbul) nochmals buchen.

Great location walking distance to everything you need.the staff where very friendly and helpful. Went for a spa treatment here highly recommended and responsible priced. The Turkish bath and sauna was great book and you get all to yourself.
