it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a room that had a strong chemical smell. It was so unpleasant that we demanded to be moved. Initially, the staff claimed there were no available rooms, but miraculously, one opened up last minute when I mentioned I would be taking it up the ladder. The hotel only offers one complimentary bottle of water daily in your room and there is no bar fridge. While glasses of water are free, you are required to trek to the bar or restaurant to fill them up, which feels unnecessary. When it comes to dining, the options are quite limited. There’s no omelette station as I read about, and just one restaurant and a buffet with a very restricted selection. Most meals were heavy on carbohydrates, and there wasn’t much variety. The bar food options were unimpressive, featuring only burgers, hot dogs, and nachos, which is hardly suitable for a proper meal. I was particularly disappointed to find there was no sausage or bacon served any of our 7 breakfast.
The amenities were also underwhelming. The sky lounge pool was shallow and uncomfortable, making it uninviting for a relaxing day. To make matters worse, the hotel bars and lounge close at 10 PM, leaving you with little to do unless you’re willing to venture into downtown. The common areas were sparse, with just two tables at the bar for groups to gather the pool time grout was missing making it uncomfortable to walk in. Also front desk never had change.
