"It's a short walk (5 minutes maybe) from the beach. It's not too far from the Malecon. The hotel had really great breakfast, sit down with various menu options, included as part of the stay. Hotel staff was very nice. The room was even decorated very cute and nicely painted. I would consider staying there again. Only thing we had trouble with was using the television."

"I don’t have much positive to say about this hotel. Food has no flavor and their mixed drinks are undrinkable. On top, I got food poisoned after having my first dinner at the hotel. I spent the next day in bed and when we told the staff, they just replied that can happen and didn’t offer any assistance for medication etc. the staff seems not happy to work there, as they were not smiling and didn’t greet the guests. "Staff were wonderful. The continental breakfast was a lovely surprise. Kitchenette room in general was well done. Only gripe is the amount of long, black hair behind every door and under the bed, ick."

Unfortunately the area around is not very inviting for families and requires additional travel to local attractions. It was great value for a short stay.
