Everything is within 8 minutes; shopping, restaurants, grocery store. We were up for soccer the field was 8 minutes away. Highly recommend. It was the Outer Banks vibe, pogues vs kooks. :)"

"Spacious cottage (in a resort full of cottages) nicely located to visit Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset and a day trip to the Portland coast. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc to make it easy to cook. Large table for family game nights. Great beds! The front porch and lawn were better for hanging outside. The back patio area is small and needs cleanup but we did not need it. "

"The cabin overlooked Route 1. The heat pump was noisy. The cabin was smaller than expected. The shower needs to be updated. The bed was very comfortable. "

"Check in was smooth. Description showed 2 rooms, one with one bed, the other with twin beds. The second room only had one bed so we had to make some adjustments. Fortunately the sofa in the living room was comfortable but that person had to walk through another bedroom to get to the bathroom from the kitchen/ dining area. Other wise in terms of location it was perfect. No lobster steamer pot, though. I recommend this location as long as the sleeping situtation works for you / your group."

You can walk to a section of beach easily (along the river just before it meets the ocean). My only two issues were that we were awakened at 6am with beeping from the delivery trucks directly outside our window and that the “common areas”...
