"A wonderful retreat nestled in forested neighbourhood with walking trails. Had to drive to amenities, but not far to Sidney or airport. Hosts were super, suite was well stocked with everything you needed. Special treat were the presence of two wonderful Golden Retrievers, two miniature ponies, and Topaz, the friendly horse. Had a great time (2 nights) and would absolutely stay again."

"While we had a good night at this property, and the kitchen and common area were great, the place was not particularly clean, there was only one bathroom for 12 beds and the room and bathroom door locks were not functional. We did not know which room was ours and had to figure that out by finding someone who could tell us. It seemed that not all of the work was finished to get this property ready to use. The neighbourhood is quiet. I needed to go to UVIC, Oak Bay, and downtown, and the location was perfect for all of this. Close to Hillside Mall which is very convenient. Good communication and instructions from the host."

"Host is very friendly and accommodating with letting our kids use their basketball hoop and trampoline! Fantastic all round experience and such a neat thing to have some fresh eggs in the morning. Only difference from listing is it say a spa/whirlpool and not sure what that would be? Otherwise, what a great little place and very clean!"

"Amazing property nestled in nature. Lots of room for the family and to kick back and relax and enjoy the beautiful natural setting. Only 15mins from the ferry or from Downtown Victoria though. Only regret is that we didn’t book for longer but will definitely be coming back again."

The suite is immaculate and stocked with absolutely everything one might need: all the mod cons and a pantry of snacks and spices, shampoo and conditioner in a shower that WORKS, comfy bed and snuggly duvet .. "We've been to this property many times however there were a few snags with this trip. We asked if a playpen was available via email and phone call. We were told we would be called the day before to be informed if we could have one - they never communicated with us. Our cottage (43) also had terrible water pressure. There was zero water coming out of the top floor bathrooms sink, and the bath trickled water - so it took 45 minutes to fill it if you wanted to use it. I informed management via...

Martin was so kind and welcoming, offering great suggestions for the activities I wanted to do; breakfast was delicious and the outdoor tub under the full moon was magic."
