"Only reason some reviews received 4 was it was dark. the stair lights were very dim. You couldn’t see the steps. I did report it as soon as we checked in. Hope they get it fixed for safety. As for the condo it was nice. we will return. We enjoy the easy access to the fishing dock. "

"Let me set expectations… this location is fishing cottages, not high-end vacation cottages. With that said the staff is caring & clean. This location was in the eye of hurricane Harvey 2017. It survived. Keeping that in mind they have done a remarkable job repainting the interior of the rooms & bringing everything up to code. "The stay was pleasant. The facilities were clean. There were a few things missing in my room that makes me think they're getting into too big of a rush. The shampoo and conditioner dispenser was missing, nothing but the bracket hanging on the shower wall. The hair dryer was missing. Half of the security lock on the inside of the door was broke off. But, other than that, I would stay there again. The pier included with the stay is very nice. "

The contental breakfast was straight forward contental- cereal, toast, and freshly (self-made) waffles. Coffee, water, and juices available.
