"We reserved this hotel for my dad late notice, as we stayed down the road at the La Quinta, and him meeting us was short noticed. All I can say is it's a very nice motel. The rooms are clean, the lobby is cute, and the fishing pier is nice. There was some trash in the parking lot, but that's about my only complaint. Our daughters were able to go out there with their Papa and fish and see all kinds of cool things under the lights. I will say this is definitely more a fishing hotel. Or a good...

"Only sayed one night, but staff was welcoming. Room quiet and comfortable. I.have ne major suggestion. The shower floor was very slippery and there are no grab bars. I highly recommend you install a good safety bar. Your bar looked inviting I will bring some friends soon to check it out!"

"This place was out standing very clean the beds were the best ..very good morning breakfast nice and cool clean quiet so much order we didn’t wanna leave and we’re definitely going back. Great pool so clean and you can even fish there my God so many things to do. My daughter is a fitness person great equipment."

"Staff was very nice and friendly. Had a convenient place right next to my room to park my boat and truck. This place is quiet, safe, a block from the beach and minutes from multiple boat ramps. Rooms are clean and newly renovated. The price was excellent. Highly recommend. "

"It´s hard to feel more welcome than here :-) Great staff, great rooms, lots of space in the breakfast area, lots of items to chose from - if in Rockport this is definitely the place to stay to feel welcome."

"Very impressed by this La Quinta! We had a comfy stay with our toddler and two dogs. Kiddo enjoyed the pool and breakfast. 8 minutes or so from the beach, so we were still able to make it out there as much as we wanted (often a day out on the water, nap at the hotel, and then back to enjoy sunset). Definitley full of families --- there were lots of kids, parents, and grandparents having a good time around the facility the whole time we were there. "

"The front desk guy was very kind, overlooking the fact that we had two kids with us and apparently the reservation was just for two adults, although I know I chose the correct number of people when I booked the the room. He was understanding and did not charge me extra. "

"Good value. Nice pool, bed comfortable (although a little tall to get into). A few nobs on dresser and kitchen drawers missing. Room easily cooled and refrigerator very cold and ready as soon as we arrived. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Location is a big plus as it is close to many restaurants and right across the street from fishing pier and bait shop. Breakfast is very simple but adequate for a quick bite. We will definitely be back!!!"

"We had a very comfortable stay at candlewood! Beds were great and came with a kitchenette that had everything you could need! Great location and a quick ferry ride to Port A! Will be staying here again!"
