Kroer i Gibson Island

"This hotel is located in a crappy neighborhood. There were homeless and very sketchy men hanging on and around the property panhandling. When my daughters got to their room there was a cockroach on the floor. There were stains on the towels and pillow cases. There are signs of wear if you look closely, scratches on doors, hallway display cases with broken glass. I will never ever stay in this hotel again!! AND they charged us for parking."

"The rooms at this hotel reserved specifically for Expedia customers are only at the front of the place. The front is about 150 ft. From a major highway. Trucks, tractor trailer, motorcycles. Loud cars racing up Rt. 50s made for one of the loudest, disturbed sleeps ever. We asked for a room facing away from the highway, but we were told we needed to pay full price for another room. No paying the difference between room price. She did offer 10% for the new room, but the cost was still...

"We loved the quaintness of the room, complete with a gas fireplace and floor to ceiling drapes. Having a restaurant right on site was incredible. I especially loved the girl dinner deal! We enjoyed the stay and the property was beautiful."

"Så ikke et smil i receptionen. Bad om bedre værelse. Sagde der intet var ledigt selvom vi kunne se utallige ledige værelser både på dagen og næste morgen. Meget larm fra motorvejen. Bookede da der stod der var balkon. Det viste sig at være fælles gangsreal uden for værelset. "

"Overnattede 2 nætter på hotellet. Hotellet fremstod pænt og rent, ligesom det andet Microtel hotel vi boede på. Værelset var fint, men sovesofaen var ikke nær så behagelig som sengen. Morgenmaden var meget simpel, men bedre/større udvalg end andre Microtel hoteller. Personalet var søde og imødekommende når vi havde spørgsmål til maden (allergener). Vi vil helt sikker bruge Microtel koncernen igen. "

"The hotel was very nice and so was all of the staff. They had some remodeling being done at the time but there was no inconvenience with anything. We had a great time and would like to return again."
