Welcome to Tower House Galena—your private hilltop escape just minutes from downtown. Surrounded by trees and overlooking open countryside, this spacious, thoughtfully appointed home offers the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway, family vacation, or weekend with friends.


Inside, the layout is open and inviting, with vaulted ceilings, large windows, and a cozy fireplace anchoring the main living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook, gather, and share meals. Whether you’re reconnecting over dinner or enjoying a quiet morning coffee, the space is designed to bring people together.


The home sleeps up to ten guests across four comfortable bedrooms. Three bedrooms feature king beds with ample storage and soft linens. The fourth bedroom includes two queen beds—ideal for kids, couples, or friends sharing a room. There are three full bathrooms and one half bath, including an en suite in the primary bedroom.


Step outside and the experience continues. The private backyard features a heated saltwater pool (seasonal), surrounded by trees, loungers, and an outdoor dining area. A cedar barrel sauna offers a spa-like experience just steps from the pool. As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit or unwind in the fresh country air while gazing out over the pasture, where local cows often wander up to the fence for a visit.

We rented this house for a 4-night stay to celebrate my dad’s 85th birthday. It was exactly what we had hoped for. We had the fireplace going every night, stayed in and cooked two of the nights, and had movie night each night. The convenience store a few minutes from the house had everything we needed but forgot to bring! The house was super cozy and comfortable. The check-in process was a breeze and communications were timely. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice little getaway with the family or large group!

Our stay at the Tower House was amazing. We enjoyed everything this house had to offer; hot tub, sauna, games, family dinners. The house is very spacious with plenty of room for the entire family and provided the ability for the kids to do “their own things” throughout our stay.Ron was prompt with answering any of our questions prior to our stay. Since we were arriving later in the evening, he left the lights on to welcome us.We would recommend the Tower house!

Very nice and accommodating for a family gathering. Lots of space yet plenty of privacy in the many different rooms that offer guests places to retreat for solitude when looking to get away from the crowd. We went in the fall but look forward to a return in the summer to use all of the outdoor activities that are available.

We love visiting the Galena area. This home is perfectly situated in the Galena Ridge Territory area. The property and home are very well kept and there is ample space for a family to relax. The outdoor space is wonderful and the warm pool and hot tub are terrific. Plenty of land for kids to run around too. The bathrooms and kitchen are not new but extremely well kept and clean. There was ample key items like dish soap, detergent, toilet paper, pool towels. Many places skimp and this place did not! It’s little things like this that go a long way!! We loved it here and intend to visit again. Highly recommended.

The house has a beautiful view while offering total privacy. The layout of the house affords lots of room to gather but also cozy private spaces. As the earliest riser in the family, I loved drinking my first cup of coffee on the private upstairs deck. This house will be doubly spectacular once the inground swimming pool is completed. Unfortunately we were too busy with the kids to enjoy the hot tub or sauna.

This beautiful home was perfect for us. Ron is the nicest, most accommodating host you could ask for. Stunning home with lots of space and views from every room. We enjoyed everything, the screened in porch, the sauna, the whirlpool, the grill, the fire pit, and the most spectacular Tower room. We will definitely be back. For all of it…and the incredible sunsets!

We had a perfect 4-day vacation there. It is a beautiful house in a great location. There was room for all nine of us to play together and also to find a space for some alone time. We hung out and relaxed. We cooked together in the well-stocked kitchen. We played games in the house and on the large area of mowed grass. The kids swam and played in three pools in the owner's club. The adults used the work out room and the tennis courts there. We went horse back riding at a stable a short 8 minute drive from the house. We want to come back next summer!

Tower House is a great place for a family vacation. It’s cozy, bright and comfortable. With bedrooms located on all three levels, it provides guests with space and privacy. The main level has plenty of gathering space that spills out onto a large deck with great views. The property is clean and well maintained and comes with a completely outfitted kitchen. The location is quiet and beautiful. I highly recommend Tower House.

This property is beautiful & very accommodating! It is about a 13 min drive into downtown Galena, but it is so very nice! 7 of us, High School Girlfriends had a wonderful time & plan to book this property again next year! The property owner was responsive, in a timely matter, to all of our questions!

This amazingly beautiful, cozy home was just what the doctor ordered for a college roommate reunion. The house comfortably sleeps 10 and there is a lot of space for everyone to spread out. Almost all of the appliances are brand new. The hot tub and sauna were a nice touch and in good condition. Having access to wood for the wood burning fireplace in the main living room was lovely. Sitting in that main room, which overlooked the scenic valley, watching it snow, was a highlight of our trip. The convenience of the house to the main road was also nice for trips to town. The furniture was comfortable. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Overall, I would highly recommend this property. It is beautiful and provided a great space for a weekend that we will never forget.
