I was pleasantly surprised how clean our room was. I have very high standards and usually find a few things that could have been cleaned better, but our room was spotless..I liked the vibes of the courtyard, like I was in the Dominican. The lady who welcomed us was very nice, on the phone and in person. She even said we could stay till 12 if needed even though the checkout time was 10:30. I Make sure to ask her if he would be charged anything extra and she said no. It was just one block away from the beach. The location, the safety...Everything seemed perfect . The only thing that left me a bit dissapinted was a text I got a few hours later asking to return the call. Another individual from the hotel wanted to confirm my checkout time at noon. When I said yes, I was politely informed that would be additional $25. I did mention that we were told it would be free, but she repeated that wasn't the case. Instead of waving the fee as they should have done in that situation and letting us stay a bit longer as discussed upon arrival, I had to promise we would be out by 10:30.
