Lovely Family Stay—Just Check on the Yard First
We had a lovely stay overall! The house was a great fit for our family and very kid-friendly. There were enough beds for everyone, and the layout of the home allowed for quiet and privacy in the bedrooms even while others were spending time in the living room. The house was well-stocked with helpful amenities and even had toys that our toddlers really enjoyed.One thing to note: the outdoor spaces didn’t quite match the description. We brought our two dogs expecting ample room for them to roam, but the usable yard space was limited. The small paved yard with the swing was a hit with the kids, but it needed sweeping before it was safe for play. The larger fenced-in backyard, unfortunately, was overgrown with tall grasses and fox-tails, making it unusable for both the kids and the dogs. If outdoor space is important to you, I recommend asking about the yard condition before booking.That said, the front yard was a nice place to relax in the evening, though it did get warm during the day due to limited shade. The goats next door were fun to watch, and the visits from the peacocks and other birds were a unique and exciting touch for the kids.In all, we had a good experience and appreciated the home’s family-friendly setup. We just wish the outdoor areas had been better maintained so we could have enjoyed them more fully.
