Feriehuse i Fiji

"This is a fine hotel with a great location. The hotel is located on a peninsula, but you can not drive, you need to park a car in the hotel parking lot on shore. The trip across on a small boat works fine and is only 5 minutes 24/7. The beach has the same issue as many other hotels on the west-coast of Fiji: A wall and lava-rocks are placed, so that there really is no beach! You should plan for using the pool all the time, which is fine enough, but nobody tells you in advance :) We had a beachside bungalow on the southern side of the main building and we had approx. 700 meters up to the restaurants! If you have trouble with walking make sure you get a room close to the main building, as it's quite a long walk. If you get the last bungalow I would think it's over a kilometer to breakfast AND back again! When we arrived, the bungalow had been offered to someone staying longer and was not ready at checking-time. We accepted the wait for maybe 30 minutes more, but when we arrived at the bungalow cleaning was still working on it and the floors were completely wet, not the best experience... On our first night we wanted to have dinner in the outdoor restaurant instead of the normal "all-inclusive-buffet" thing in the main restaurant. Showing up we were greeted with: Have you not made a booking? No. Our next available time is 19:00 - it was at 18:45. The restaurant was almost completely empty on 25 tables with 2 tables occupied. "Great unit with ample space and good facilities. As everywhere in Fiji, the staff was super kind and helpful. Note that the resort is stretched out along the coast. So you have to factor in time for walking or using the complimentary shuttle microbus or golf cart transfers. Only issues: our unit was on the ground floor and had a lot cockroaches. Mostly small, but they kept coming. Also, because we were there in the humid season (early April), the aircondition led to wet floors due to condensation. Not great building design."

"Vi havde en fin oplevelse, men oplevede at der er potentiale til forbedring af service i receptionen og housekeeping. Vi bad tre gange om at få rengjort vores værelse, hvilket aldrig skete. Ligeledes tog det tre opkald til guest service før vi fik redt senge op til vores børn. Vi savnede generelt informationer omkring aktiviteter, da det ikke var åbenlyst for os hvor og hvornår disse foregik. Maden var god og personalet der serviceminded. Ligeledes var vi tilfredse med værelset som både er stort og ligger godt. "
