"Very nice and beautiful hotel with nice location. Very nice room and bed. Very good service and easy to book tourist tours from the travel Desk. Fantastic restaurants ."
"There is a significant difference between Taj Tower and Taj Palace. The Tower is a bit run-down and rooms without any thrills. The Taj Palace is old too, but at least there is an atmosphere of peace and style unlike the Tower where it felt like a busy and loud tourist hotel and with a breakfast buffet that was quite disappointing.
Housekeeping service was amazing, but front-desk and restaurants were a hit or miss. Check-in was however smooth and helpful.

"Placed in an old beatiful building the Grand Hotel makes a great first impression.
The room was squeeky clean and had all we needed; including aircon, fridge and great WiFi reception.
The staff was amazing; friendly, polite and very helpful and attentive. Always available.
Breakfast was good and dinner at the hotel restaurant is definetly reccomendable.
The location is good to; walking distance to the Central Station and only 2 kilometers to major sights like Gateway of India!

"I was in India on a business trip in many small towns, and as a last step before catching the flight - I used this hotel. Very clean, very efficient, and friendly staff. Compared to all hotels I had (even from better chains like Meridien in surat) - this was simply the best even though it was rated two stars. "

"This is a great little hotel, the rooms are small, similar to what you would expect in Singapore. The hotel finish is very nice and it is very clean. We only needed a room overnight as we were catching a train in the morning and it is close to the station. We regularly stay in the Fort area and in other hotels of this quality but with larger rooms we pay double the room cost. Staff need some training on how to engage customers better and read customer booking requests."
"The staff are kind. For example, when I hung out the laundry in the room in the morning, they left the fan running so that it would dry well. But there is no excessive service. There are various types of breakfast. The linen is clean. The linen is getting old, so I think it would be more comfortable if it was changed. I appreciate the kindness during my stay.
