"This was a delightful place to stay. The condo is very clean and lovely. The king sized bed is very comfortable. The courtyard is lovely and contains one of the two pools on the property. The condo is about 200 yards from the ferry, and is right across from the town’s plaza (we watched all of the Dia de Los Muertos activities there).The eastern shore of the ocean is right outside, off your balcony. "I stayed in this lovely home for 3 nights with 9 dear friends for my bachelorette party just before getting married in Playa del Carmen! We are a group of women in our 30s and loved relaxing at the house and exploring the nearby beaches and restaurants! We also loved cooking together at the house and truly appreciated the amazing hospitality of the host! The large screened in porch area outside the kitchen upstairs was a wonderful spot to spend time together!"

The owner was incredibly helpful, providing a long list of tips and recommendations, and even connected me with an amazing massage therapist whose studio is just a short walk from Villa Amistad. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the house manager responded quickly whenever I had questions. My favorite features were the gorgeous pool, the wonderful rooftop, and the super comfortable bed. I can’t wait to come back!"

"One adult with mobility issues was not a problem. Main floor bathroom and bedroom with easy in/out access was great. This is a property that either requires a rental car, taxis, bicycle or a good deal of walking. We had 2 mobility scooters which easily provided transportation to shopping and local restaurants. However the beach requires either a taxi or Collectivo. The Collectivo's run frequently and will pick you up at the front gate. The draw back is they are fast and can be quite full which...

"The house was the perfect size for 14 people. The host was amazing with helping us set up everything. If you need anything from golf carts to groceries and a chef, they will make it easy! The location on the quiet side of the island is perfect for a relaxing vacation. We will be back!"

"The place named Tijuana is 1 bedroom apartment on a second floor. There's two smallish pools on both floors. It's 5 minutes walk from the ferry and about the same to anything one might need."

"Villa Amistad took our breath away the moment we opened the front door & could see the ocean through the beautiful glass doors into the beautiful pool area. The sound of the waves crashing on the rocks transforms you. You are only separated from the ocean by a lovely walkway, called the Malecon that runs a good length of the island & the Villa has direct access to it through a door next to the pool which was a plus.
