"This is traditional Japanesse inn (or what you would call it). It is very simple and stay to the traditional rules of behaviour (using indoor shoes in the right place, ect.) and food. If you are looking for that, this is the place for you. There are great opportunities for taking bath in the hot springs at the inn. There village where is it located is out of this world. You can walk to bus to Kyoto in 10 minutes and fantastic surrounding!! This is true relaxation!"

"Incredible service, spotless room, fantastic meals. This was my family's first visit to Kyoto, and staying at Yuzuya Ryokan was a delight. Everything about the ryokan was so well kept and cared for. We arrived before our check-in time, and dropped our luggage off so we could explore Gion a little before dinner service. When we returned, our bags were already moved to our two rooms. "Very Nice ryokan with friendly staff and a comfortable room. There Are futons to sleep on and a little table with traditional low chairs including a Tea set. There is a choice of japanese or western style breakfast, which Are both of good standard. Furthermore, the ryokan offers a Tea ceremony every morning and different activities or information meetings every Day. All in All a Nice place that we would recommend to friends and family. "
